Still haven't played the 2nd yet and in any case have got Uncharted 3 to keep me busy

Jesus Christ, how long can the update for this possibly take? Feel as if i've been sat here about half an hour waiting to play it.

I bought this alongside Tekken Hybrid because it was ridiculously cheap, and I have to say I'm pleased with what I played. The game started a bit meh, I hated the demo as well and its the same level. I decided to stick with it and after a few evenings I'm actually at the final city.

The reason that this game is so intense is that I sometimes have to beg for healthpacks to appear. I can't hide and wait, I have to make my shots count and press on. And being able to switch between a load of guns means I can approach the shootout the way I want. Health regen and a 2 weapon limit should die a painful and terrible death. This is how FPS should be.

I still think the first game was the best though, although R3 has some of the most incredible set pieces.

Only just completed this today despite having it for a while. I had a "Play a game until completion before starting another" rule this year, with this one I had to take a break as I was finding it pretty tough, at times I just felt overwhelmed with the amount of enemies I was having to take on! As mentioned above, i'd find myself scrambling through hordes of enemies to get to a health pack, nothing more panicky than only having the slightest of energy bars left. Have to say, it's a stunning looking game, and one I think more people should give a run out. I'd say it's the best FPS i've played this year.

Holy Crap what an amazing FPS this really is . I got it for Christmas and only now got to play and its totally awesome , feels very Half Life with more action and set pieces(which are out of this world) . This game totally blows away KZ III, Battle Field III and COD MW III.

Its just brilliant .

This just keeps on getting better and better I can't quite believe how good it really is Its just so well done and wow.... what great fire fights and battles (have enjoyed fights like this so much since FEAR) LOVE IT - Real challenge too with no Health regeneration.

Started this last night. Holy crap. It's fantastic! I'm playing using Move controls and once I'd set the dead zone down to nothing it plays really well. You really do feel like earth is completely screwed yet you continue to fight anyway. The weapons are awesome of course. Ok, I'm only a few hours in but this is shaping up to be the best console FPS of this generation. The amount of crap on screen at once, the lighting, the wind and debris blowing about. Feels like a proper warzone. The chimera AI is as crap as ever though and they cheaply get around the problem by just throwing more enemies at you but somehow this seems to work. Can;t wait to play more.

You using the SharpShooter?

Killzone 3 in 3D with the SharpShooter is tiring but kind of fun.
