All these write ups sound great. Can't wait to get hold of the game....and shall not be ordering from play-asia again. Horrible, slow service.

Lol I lost count of the amount of games I got a little Slide happy in Fifa '11 & had games called off because I had too many players sent off.

I much prefer the new tackling in '12
The standing tackle & Jostle buttons are a god send for me this year...make tackling a much less risky affair.

At least it's not just me then

In Fifa '11 I regularly had 3 or more players on yellow cards where as the CPU hadn't even committed a foul all game let alone got anyone booked.

It's not that I'm rash at challenges or anything I swear half the time I get all the ball but still get a foul against me.

I'm not really bothered about how much I get booked I just wish the CPU was more open to giving away fouls or getting booked

That's the first thing I do

It's more about the tackling they seem to get away with amazingly blatant fouls but never get penalised.

Some Fifa's are GOOOOD, Some Fifa's are BAYAD, but some Fifia's are UNBELIVEABLE Fifa's

My PS3 copy arrived today & I had a quick blast at lunch time.

Love the new front end & the whole XP thing is a great little touch.

Only had a quick exhibition game Southend Vs Colchester & lost 1-0
But it's sublime...I wasn't sure how different it would be to '11 but it looks great & plays like a dream.
The new defending is brilliant...will take a while to get used to but the options for tackling now are much more varied & works WAY better.

Also had a drop ball & a player pull up mid-way through with an injury both of which are great little touches.

Only thing I still hate is the CPU's ability to hardly ever give away free kicks.
Things I get booked for get overlooked time & again with the CPU...it was like it in '11 & is carried over nicely to '12

Going to get started on a carrer mode tonight so will see what changes have been made there.

All in though an awesome update & a must buy

Had a game of this yesterday. I like FIFA but haven't owned a copy for many years, maybe PS2 era. Just play it at one of my pals house against each other every now and then and that's FIFA 2008 we're still playing.

But another pal brought the new one over for a game on 360 and we played as Man Utd against the CPU as Spurs on Legendary. Lost 2-0. Pretty hard. Played again, lost 5-0, played again, lost 5-0. Raging at this point we changed the CPU to Crewe Alexandra. This time we somehow scraped in at 90 minutes 0-0, then 1-1 AET and won on penalties!

Not the same though as winning for real so we went for one last game. Struggled through to 44 minutes before letting a goal in. Gutted! From kick off though, we dashed straight forward, he drifted a sublime through ball over the top of the defence as I sprinted Rooney past everyone, controlled the ball with one touch and slotted it under the keeper into the bottom corner. Game on! Second half started and they scored instantly. Arghhhh, so infuriating. After somehow escaping the next 30 minutes or so without letting another goal in under constant pressure the game changed and we snuck another equiliser in with my pal scoring a cracking shot from outside the box. Time then started ticking down to 90 minutes and it looked like we were set for another bout of Extra Time and a failed mission. But well into injury time, I commented "this is our last chance!" I fought my own player Rossco through the back line, and my pal just knew what to do, the sweet through ball over the top again, perfectly brought down, controlled and slotted into the bottom corner to win the game!

It might only have been Crewe but playing on Legendary is hard work. You get hardly any time on the ball and it's so difficult to keep possesion at times, especially against a good team but that was such a great game of football. We were off our seats constantly at the shots, the penalty save, the red cards, everything happened in it. Awesome fun. Really seems like it's came a long way in recent years.

So getting this. Where's the cheapest place?

You can play co-op career mode (i.e. both on the same team) on one console. No idea if you can do it online. I doubt I'm gonna pick up pes now. This is too good.

Nevertheless, a reply it is! Thank you.

I may just get this, and pebbles can get PES for Friday nights, if it's not knacked up like the demo and last year's game.

I only ever play Exhibition matches for some reason (I just like not having to commit to anything more than bite-sized sessions I guess) so I honestly have no idea if there's anything akin to Master League in this. There's something called Ultimate Team but I have no idea what that is. And a career mode where you can be a player, player-manager or just a manager. Or all three. But I don't know if that offers co-op.

    Most helpful reply ever!

Ahh mannnn, i guess running around with a near empty stamina bar must up the injury %, 2 serious injuries now in my first year with Genoa... first 3 weeks out and now 3 months with a torn calf, just pulled up and kealed over in the middle of the pitch.
