There are now reports of people having already cleared Inferno mode, Wizards having OP survival skills, blue gear being better than Legendary gear, etc.

I heard some people exploited their way through Inferno...

After checking on the forums it seems Act I is very doable, however Act II is supposed to be impossible even after gearing up extensively on Act I. Wizards can tank too, but that doesn't work vs. Prisoner+Waller+Vortex elites.

I'm only near lvl30. My gf doing a good job of stopping me from getting addicted. Only played for 10hrs or so. I'm loving Grasp of the Dead Acid Cloud though, and Spirit Walk Fear Bomb amongst a huge group of mobs is immense. Also, Spirit Walk breaks fear which is going to be great for PvP - I mentally cried out "Damnit, I need my Medallion trinket from WoW!!" when I got feared the first time, then I clicked Spirit Walk immediately seemingly on impulse and I took control again.

Dont believe this played for 30 min then says i got disconnected off the server then when i logged back in all the progress i had made had been loss

I swear if its like this in a few weeks time and a pirate version comes up i will get it i just want to play the damn thing with little hassle

Level 21 now, trying to find a head. This game is like crack. All I can think about is LOOT. The ten item restriction on the auction house is a pain though, I have yellows piling up while I wait for my cheap blue stuff to clear.

I'm just selling my yellows to vendors. I have too many (and they are only normal mode items anyway), and I have multiple stacks of mats piled up which I can't use for ages yet.

Just sank 40k into another four stash upgrades.

Anyone else getting bad lag all the time on this? I presume its lag and not somthing on my end becuase even if I turn all my graphical options down it still stutters alot somtimes.

This is all in single player too... what a farce.

I've been waiting for hours to identify a couple of yellow items as i thought you had to buy identify scrolls.
Didn't realise all you had to do was right click them now.

It stutters on mine too, i thought it was due to the online part of it. Have noticed it chugging for no reason at some points, a possible memory leak?

Makes you wonder why they even bothered with making you identify them at all. The lack of town portal scrolls also surprised me, but I sort-of wish that they'd lifted Torchlight's pet system for that.

Almost at an end of my first normal playthrough, currently lvl 34 Wizard.

Must agree with what Silvergun has said in regards to the possibility of blue items being better than legendaries. I have a piece of blue armor which gives me almost 100 int, which more than puts to shame any yellow piece I've come across over the entire game and I can't realistically see a legendary taking up that slot, even if I find one.

Looking forward to restarting on nightmare though, should be getting that underway this evening. I've been finding my Demon Hunter alt quite fun to play though, and already at an early level I see it being more than a match for my Wizard.

I'm still on my first play through but from what I have seen so far yellow items are much like blue ones, the only difference is that you will often find a yellow item that is a lot stronger than any blue items you're currently finding. For instance I found a yellow Sword pretty early on and it gave me around 15 dps, when all the other items I was finding were more like 6 and 7's.

It makes sense that yellow items are not too over powered though, otherwise once Started to find a few you would probably never need to use blue items ever again.

I just figured the yellow ones just have alot more stats than the blue ones, the blue ones just dominate in one main.

Good lord this latency is making Nightmare mode alot more difficult than it needs to be. I've died 6 times in under 30 minutes due to ****ing lag spikes.

Why on earth Blizzard ever thought that a "one life only" difficulty mode was a good idea I will never know.

The thing with the yellow and blue items is that, if you want to compare them, you have to compare items of the same level. So a yellow level 44 item will always have a higher total value of stats than a blue level 44 item. If those stats are useful for your character or not is another matter.
