I installed the game yesterday but didn't bother going on last when the server's opened, I'd have never gone to bed if I'd have gone on last night. Tried to go on this afternoon at 3.30 and I still can't get on due to the servers being at full capacity. It's great buying games on release day and not being able to play them due to bug's or server issues.

Does seem a bit silly requiring you to be online if all you want to do is play the single player portion of the game.

I cant get on now either, there is an "outage" apparently.

You can go through Diablo 2 in half that time if you know what you're doing.

So he completed it on Normal, great! Now do Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno. Completely new loot while you're at it.

Yeah, you will finish normal with **** gear.

The real stuff comes with Inferno.

I'm actually convinced that completion picture is a fake. As I doubt he will be the last boss. I daren't click any further though for fear of spoiling stuff. Do they have other proof?

GRRR had a quick play during lunch and since i got home have not been able to login and play....think games are far to reliant on internet connections now

Well I can't connect now either, it's extremely disappointing, I don't care what people say about this being a typical Blizzard launch, they're wrong.

Every game I've ever purchased from Blizzard has been fine during Launch, it's only WoW that's had problems like this and Diablo isn't WoW.

I got a few hours in before the rush, got logged out around 6pm for obvious reasons and cannot ge back in. It seemed VERY addictive though haha!

And when I do manage to get back in, I can't load my character as there's missing **** which presumably the server hasn't gotten round to reloading.

I got onto Asian servers for a quick go... shame it won't migrate my characters to europe - so i'll be starting again when it connects

Finally managed to get on, I went for Demon Hunter. So far I'm enjoying it. I'll post again once I've played for a few more hours.

I have my collectors edition sitting here but... Before I install I have a question...

Considering I honestly think Skyrim is one of the worst games I have ever played, does that mean this one wont be for me either? (I haven't played the older ones either...)

Well it's nothing like Skyrim. As I mentioned earlier in the thread this is more of an action game.

Its like the Baldurs Gate console games, or like torchlight but with more varied environments, if you played any of those.

I haven't played them either, but considering you say its nothing like Skyrim that's promising, that game is awful...
