Your primary attack skill is already bound to mouse 1

You can swap about what's bound to what if you check the option that's in the gameplay section of the menu though.

There's an option called Elective Mode in the game's settings - Turn this on and it derestricts where you can slot your skills, but you still have to unlock the hotbar slots.

I think what Eastyy was talking about, now I've read his post again though, was the fact that when you start off you have a skill on your LMB and the weapon attack on your RMB.

The thing to remember here, is that the skill that's by default on your LMB *should* be your primary attack. You want to attack with this at all times, as it's likely to be a 'generating' skill and not a skill that costs anything to use. Weapon attack by itself on RMB is only there because there's not a skill currently filling that slot.

yeah so used to diablo 2 and just having main weapon on the left mouse buttone and the skills to the right mouse and number keys

playing as a witch doctor and left mouse button is that poison long range attack and often i would prefer to just use the melee attack when they get to close

Whats the score with this internet wise then? does it need a constant connection to be played or it cuts out? or is it like starcraft2 in that it just disables the achievements?

edit. ?59.99 on amazon, is that some kind of practical joke

it requires you to be online at all times yes, otherwise you can't play it.

It takes about three minutes to unlock your second skill, by which point you will never need the melee attack ever again.

Nothing should be getting close to you either, you need to be on the run.

I decided to be a barbarian in this in the end. As I feared it does seem far too easy and I could probably finish the entire game on normal just by running up to things and hitting them with my standard attack over and over but it still manages to be a lot of fun, even if I will probably never die during the entire length of the game.

Had a look at the auction house earlier, people are selling powerful weapons for very little gold.... Don't think I will bother buying anything though. It certainly doesn't need to be even easier.

You're right, the normal difficulty was easy on Diablo 2 too... I'm trying to treat it as an introduction to the main game.

finally get it now i was thinking what was the point of equipping a weapon if you cannot use it but its stats affect the primary skill

Hehehe. Yes, that could've been explained a bit better actually!

Your skills do a percentage of your weapon damage rating.

With co-op in mind what class would compliment my friend's Wizard well and why?

getting some horrible lag at some points (which is bizzare as have only played single player) things woulf freeze and then take a few seconds to catch up

That'd probably be saving to a laggy server or summit eastyy. It'd cut down problems of disconnects and crashes causing players to rerun what they've already played.
