Lollipop Chainsaw review (360/PS3)

Thought Angry Joe in You Tube would have given it a 7 but gave it a 6, Edge gave it a 7. Will def buy after a price drop. Sounds and looks like PN03 with more to it, which is good for me, like the idea of score attack and score beating, hear the combat gets more in depth after the beginning. Seems to have plenty of unlockables. Look forward to playing this. Not played Bo More Heroes as I think the PS3 version requires Move?! Impressions of Lollipop sound good looks old school in some respects which is not a bad thing.

It's nothing like SOR, this game is actually fun LOL. 2D side scrolling beatemups bored me to tears back in the day, kind of ironic that one of the complaints with this game is that it's too short where 2D beatemups were easily finished in a few hours.

I meant with regard to the comic imprecision of the combat, and the endless parade of goon-fodder. I do like the game, but for the same reason I like SOR. They're just daft.

As I have not played it that's what it reminded me of at a glance was PN03 will see when I play it. SOR style too I also like so should be good either way. Sounds fun from all the opinions I've read. Score idea and coming back for more unlickables sounds like it has lots of replay value too.

'Unlickables'? Why does Lolllipop Chainsaw have this kind of effect on gamers?

I would say that PN03 was a forerunner to Bayonetta really as in its dodge and reflect damage. Lollipop really doesn't have the same dodge mechanics it is more of a masher. Even if it does have combos.

The videos remind me of Madworld a bit...I don't see the Bayonetta stuff as much as everyone else.
I highly doubt any influence came from the turd that was PN03...but I may be wrong.

Roll on Monday, I'm sure I'll enjoy every minute of Lollipop Chainsaw.

Got the 1000/1000 yesterday, now I'm making the sad decision to sell it to HMV for ?25 today.

Great game, really loved it, but just no reason to go back to it now.

Played this and enjoyed it tbh. Was having a complete chill day and it fitted in nicely as you dont have to think about much. Got to the end of stage 5 in my 1st sitting so expect ill finish it later.
