That was a pain. The fight with Bewm Boom was more annoying for me though.

Went wrong by not looking at the waypoint markers clearly displayed on the mini-map, I'd suggest

        F you! lol.

It seems that Corporal Reiss is

not actually at the marked point on the map. Instead there is something else there which will trigger his appearance somewhere else

so despite scouring all the surrounding area for him he's not there because I haven't

        triggered him

        .

Go gearbox! played 3 hours multiplayer with voice comms, lag free on a 384 kbs connection. What a superb game. My ninja is specialising in melee and with my bayonette equipped sniper rifle we calculated that my stealth backstab does almost 600 damage in one hit.

Another 7 hour sesh...these games takeover my life!
Upto level 21 but have found an annoying trait...I had left a delivery mission from early on cuz I couldnt do it in time. My intention was to tank through the level 8 rated challenge as a super powered level 20. But the enemies are all level 19/20 now too!

So really....what is the point of levelling up if you are never more than a level or 2 different from the enemies in any particular mission?

                  So it's always a challenge?

The challenge is from all the other missions I have open for Levels 18-21 surely? A level 8 challenge is a level 8 challenge I would have expected (til now)...like it was in Fallout.

Or if you are always the same level as the enemy...just start at level 50 and be done with it! Otherwise its just random numbers?

My gunzerker is not built for speed sadly...

Enemy levels seem to be based on the highest member in your team. MonkeyJuggleDX joined me for a while (him lvl 16 me 7) and the enemies were 16-18 it seemed. A level 8 challenge is a challenge you can't do until you pass level 8 no?

Puzzled as to why people are finding this so sticky in places. I've not hit any walls yet, I'd hazard saying it's possibly a little more forgiving than the first game even. Reiss was a very easy mission, you just need to pick up an item to get his proper location. Bewm Boom was easy too as you can just circle behind then pick him off. What might throw it off is I'm not currently co-oping the game so I don't have a higher level player coming in and throwing the enemy difficulty up. For the level I'm at though the missions are falling like domino's

Bewm boom was cake. Reiss though, it wasn't explained well enough what I should be looking for. There's 1 trillion items of **** lying around the world. I stopped investigating ever single one of them about an hour in so I missed the thing I needed. However, I forgave Dark Souls and that imparted almost no information at all.

They can be hard to spot (especially in the snow locations where Reiss is located) but the missions specific item pick ups seem to always be in a pale blue light. It's easy to miss, I almost have once or twice, as the colour isn't distinct enough from either the snow background or the slightly darker blue class weapons.

Spent 3 hours just wandering about the Southern Shelf and found my way the Ebonfloe and that cove. Should get back to missions.
