Was just thinking, imagine if this game was on PC. Someone would do a streamline mod for assessing fossils, donating, harvesting etc. and a game that I'll probably play for a year would be over in about 48 hours.Comment

Me and my girlfriend have separate game saves but live in the same village. This is causing problems as we are sharing all the spoils, which means by the time she comes home from work there's bugger all left for her.
If we had 2 separate copies of the game could we live in separate villages or would we need a second 3ds?Comment

I think it saves to the SD card as MrSands lost his village when the microSD he was using corrupted, so you would need separate 3DS'.Comment

I'd be very curious to know how the save works. I have the physical copy but this current games offer means I could get the download digital copy too. If I could transfer or use the save on the digital copy, I could then hang on to the physical copy for my little girl when she eventually gets a 3DS. But that would only work if I could somehow continue my progress going from physical to digital, which sounds kind of unlikely.Comment
