Because once you get into it there is always something to do wether it be hunting bugs trying to catch rare fish joing in tournaments or discovering new events and people, just keeping your village a happy tidy place takes a lot of time and effort.
If you can't see the point of it I doubt you ever will, lol
I'm not that far into it but previous games let you decide where certain new village features go, and now your mayor I bet there will be a lot more village shaping In this one.Last edited by Lebowski; 17-06-2013, 13:44.

There are lots of different fish to catch. Lots of different furniture items. That's loads of content. As others have said, there does always seem to be plenty to do once things get started properly. People visiting town selling things etc.

I guess I will give it more time.
I just wish somthing would happen in it. The reviews make it sound like you live in a massive town where loads of stuff is always happening. But I seem to be living in a small down where people do nothing but collect bugs all day long and repeatedly tell me that I can save if I press start, which incidentally I managed to figure out all on my own. But then maybe Im just a genius.

Because people like it. It's as simple as that. I like catching fish, and bugs and digging up fossils and decorating my house. I really enjoy that experience and constantly want to get more types of fruit and try to catch bigger butterflies than everyone else on here. My point it, if this is the sort of game for you then you should already be getting something out of it. It's not going to suddunly 'click. but, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not worthy of the score others bestow on it. I haven't scored it yet myself but it'll be at least an 8 I'm sure.

I get that people like it, but my point is that this game, in fact this series, gets brilliant scores across the board with every version that's released. Yet if you were to break it down, there's nothing to the game, if you were to review it properly, regardless of how much you might personally enjoy it, then surely you can't give it a high score as its just lacking in many areas.Last edited by rmoxon; 17-06-2013, 14:34.

I'm not sure you get the core ideas Rmoxon. It's about doing nothing but doing everything, theres so many ways to show creativity, like designing t-shirts, or making new town tunes, then you have the whole collecting and decorating your house. Love just visiting other towns seeing what people collect and display, it's a simple game, maybe im simple. Plus the characters in your town make it fun. If you don't like it, then fine, don't play it, just let us enjoy our fun.
