Is there a limit to how many saplings you can plant? I buried some fruit on the right of my town a few days ago, and last night I buried some more on the left, this morning the ones on the right had vanished! Is there an upper limit I'm hitting here?

I imagine there probably is a limit eventually but I would say it's more likely at this stage it just didn't like where you planted them. Basically if you're too close to anything, they won't grow. Also it seems neighbours already have an awful habit of moving in where you plant trees.

Got a visit from my old pal Tortimer today and a whole bunch of new stuff opened up. Won't have time to explore them until this evening.
