And it's me again. I have gone as far as I can on B class and have to get more stars on A class to keep on going and, man, it's tough. And I am hating the whirlwind - never been a fan of reverse control weapons in any racer and this does nothing to change my mind.

But this game rocks so hard. It is so full of love and fun it's just such a treat. Kudos to everyone in Sumo and Sega for making such a great game and truly realising the potential of the classic Sega IP and doing so with so much respect for each series and yet, while doing so, never losing sight what this actually is - a racing game in the here and now.

Now, I wonder if Sumo could make a new Panzer Dragoon game? I'd like to see that.

It took me a while to figure that out, you swipe up or down on the gamepad touch screen to switch between TV and gamepad

I'm stuck on 119 stars...the normal races are killing my interest in this. Even shooting the other cars doesn't seem to slow them down! Hit em with a tornado and watch them accelerate away backwards ffs!

Plus using sonic with his speed mod, getting a full turbo start and still watching Pudding and the rest of the slowies drive away from you and all reverse fire tornados/snow/drones/blow fish at you gets a little annoying! All on B class too.

Never known a Kart game be so unforgiving on normal difficulty, bought this to play inbetween more heavy going games but its about as relaxing as Mushi Futari on ULTRA.

Ah right, cheers! I checked the manuals, but no mention, and I'd tried tapping the screen, but not swiping it.

My save file has become corrupted through some glitch i never turned of the console as it was saving quite upsetting is there a know glitch that destroys, corrupts the save file? was really enjoying the game was pretty far into it as well had about quite a bit of world tour done to s rank standard

I dont buy many new games as i cant really justify it most games that come dont interested me one bit but i thought i should support sumo on this game as it was very enjoyable and the system looked good for time trialing .

There?s a lot of bitching about this game so I suggest people mention what version they are playing so we can understand what version has which issues. I'm playing the Asian 360 version and have no frame issues (below 30fps) and find the CPU to be fair. Completed all tracks with B ranking and over half with A so the game isn't that hard although it can be a pain in the arse at times but nothing compared to the annoying **** in Mario Kart games with the elastic finish line races. None of that crap in Sumo's game. You just need to practice and you will get better. Strangely I have a big problem with the drifting stages yet I drift throughout the entire game most of the time.

Started playing the WiiU version a couple of days ago .. At first I thought there had been a horrible mistake and that someone had made a Wii game and put it on a WiiU disc as the graphics looked horrible. I realised fairly quickly though my projector's focus had drifted, and it was out of focus!

So far its an enjoyable game, I am playing with the Pro Controller as I wanted to get some use out it. The controller is perfect for this game, with the only issue being that my right thumb keeps moving to the wrong place after all these years of using a 360 controller.

I do love the whole 'SEGA' feel to it, a lot of different games being represented here. I love the music of the Panzeer Dragoon stage for example. Graphically the game is a bit of a mess though, it looks like (to me anyway) a game from the beginning of this generation. The frame rate is fairly sold, but can dip for no reason evety now and then.

Personally I would have preferred Sega to have made the look of the game simpler, this would have helped with the frame rate and also would have made the game easier to follow as sometimes there is way too much going on, which with the dodgy frame rate doesn't help. I can't understand why it feels so rough though, its almost like the game hasn't been optimsed at all. Whether that is just the WiiU version or whether all the versions are like that I don't know.

Apart from that it is enjoyable enough, the Online side of things isn't too great though as there doesn't seem to be too many people played this on the WiiU version. Still good stuff so far.

All the versions have framerate issues. The 360 version has even worse dips than the WiiU version, which in comparison is quite stable.

Sorry my save corrupted on the pal 360 version of the game was looking at my save data on the xbox the data for my profile has become about 54 kb when looking at my brothers profile its about 640 kb so i doubt i can ever get my data back.

The game isnt to hard mabye for some casual gamers but you actually have to race quite well round the track victory isnt just handed to you for me thats a good thing.

                          slow down?

Slow down? You mean remove the tape holding down the accelerator? That's a bit extreme.

Heheh... its the right advice though.

I had the same problem and basically there isnt much else you can do as its too tight and angle. I usually hit that jump and just lay off the gas a little before the first turn, then throw it into the second turn and power out.

Then again if anyone else has a better guide where you dont need to sacrifice a little speed I'd love to hear it.

Taking your finger off accelerate mid-drift works wonders I find. You can get some immense control on even the tightest turns...though I'm finding it kinda tough to drum this new technique into me after playing so many hours in a certain way.

Do love this game for the most part, one or two weak courses and some minor glitches become more troublesome in expert mode but yeah, it's a fantastic racer. The better track designs are some of my favourite gaming moments of the year, with the After Burner one being especially rad.
