Just seen the prices for the download only versions of the full retail games on the eshop, pretty disgusting really ?49.99 - ?54.99!!!. Do nintendo expect people to pay more for digital & get less value? Seeing as it's nintendo there will be no chance in hell of them discounting anything online.

The miiverse looks an interesing feature but thats pretty much it. It's good to hear more impressions but still not convinced, from watching the online reviews on youtube it looks slow as hell when navigating. Hopefully nintendo will bother to fix & optimize the clunkyness.

I honestly think the DL games would be cheaper if Nintendo UK was an actual thing rather than just a PR machine.

Same with PSN. The UK arms do their own thing and forget mainland Europe.

Good lord, Nintendo haven't made the initial set up easy have they? First off my console refused to accept auto settings for my router so cue about 20 minutes manually entering everything.

When I FINALLY manage to sort that, I get an error code 105-4400 every time I try and run the system update!

Edit: God, now I'm getting an error code 103-1205, telling me that another device on the network is already using the same IP. FFS Nintendo, of course there's another device using the same IP address. I have more than one device you know.....

Of course not. All devices share the same router/gateway connection (usually 192.168.1.1), but every device needs an unic IP. Try setting the Wii U IP to something like 192.168.1.250, which is probably unused in your network.

Think I've made progress but have hit another stumbling block, now I've got error code 105-4011.

I love how Nintendo think that its all a fault on my end that's to blame. Is it my fault that I couldn't use auto connect? DON'T THINK SO!

Could be that everybody is trying to update the wii u this morning. What IPs and DNSs have you manually set?

It did occur to me that a lot of kids are probably trying to update theirs.

I've primary DNS set to 8.8.8.8 and secondary set to 8.8.4.4
I've just switched to the IP address you suggested.

Your settings are OK, must be the update system is being hammered hard

It should work without updating, mine does!

When I tried to play ZombieU for 1st time after 2nd update it made me update.
