Nintendo Wii U - review

Has anyone got a headset for this yet and can recommend any?

Also is Darksiders or AC3 worth getting on Wii over other consoles? Maybe I should just wait for Bayonetta 2 for the rest of my Wii U gaming needs!

Got to admit this is one amazing handheld, even sold my 360 versions of games to get again on this sweet machine feels like a Nintendo return to form for me.

Yeah I think so , think this handheld really shows Sony what they should have done with the vita.
The vita,s had it I think yet its a amazing handheld, but nintendos effort is so sweet, will be buying all multiformat titles on the wii u this year not the 360 as usual.

I'm the same had darksiders 2 on 360 didn't hardly play it now Ive bought it for the wii u admittedly cheapI've put quite a few hours into it.Just seems to be more fluid with the gamepad's screen cycling through the menu's with the stylus

Yeah I know it's not a dedicated handheld? It's just I,ve had more fun with this than I had with my vita, and I had cfw on my vita too for emus.

Hadn't switched mine on for a week - too busy at work so crashing straight away when I got home.

Thought I'd play some Mario for 30 mins before Match of the Day last night.

3 hours later I realised I'd missed MotD!!

Caved and bought one xmas eve along with mario and zombie. Really nice machine, clever controller and the graphics and sound are up there. Mario is as expected and zombie still wrapped due to back log of games. Only bought for Nintendo franchises but have to agree, would like to play mass effect on the fancy controller. My kids are very disappointed with the bundled game, Nintendo land, must have taken them a week to put it together my 11 year old says, bring on wii sports 3.

Christ, Nintendo have even region-locked the controller. I'm so sick of this anti-consumer nonsense. Usually they dress this sort of thing up in some sort of overbearing, nannying twaddle but this seems so obviously designed to stop their domestic market from cheaply importing them from overseas when they become available.
