      Nope.

The games I have; Black Ops, Mario, Tank, Tekken, Sonic and ZombiU all have a "4 page" manual which folds out like a poster.

They basically only list controls as a quick reference guide but are mostly in colour - BlOps2 isn't.

There are full e-manuals on the disc set to the language your system is set too.

To coin a phrase .... 'You have to see if for yourself' .... So take the red pill and see how far down the rabbit hole you end up.
He is right and wrong. Everything bar the games and the pad are utterly amateurish, the menus feel like the new playstation store its like swimming in soup and I personally found online very clunky and while miiverse amused me for a couple of minutes but I think the more games that are released it will become extremely fractured.

The pad is very nice and the small screen play is a great feature. The games themselves are great (what i have anyways Mario and Zombi) it's just a pain in the arse wading through poor slow design to get to them and the constant music playing through menu navigation can just GTFO but the most important thing and one thing it does very right for me is that it does not feel like a Wii when playing a game, the games themselves remind me of the N64,GC days its still not really worth the ?300 outlay but is petrol worth ?1.40 a litre? It's better than I thought it would be.

if you want to play a game there is no "wading" through menus. They are all there stright away on the home screen. As for the menus themselves, like many I find them sufficient and quite charming. Much better than the horrible mess that is the 360 front end or the cold experience you will get from the PS3

The WiiU menus are well enough laid out but the system is quite slow when using them. Hopefully it can be improved with updates in the future. Right now speed is my only real gripe with the console. It does boot up quick initially, which is odd becuase then it takes about 30 seconds to load the settings menu.

Load times in some games aren't great either, Black ops 2 seems to take about a minute to load in between games of zombies for instance.

Those are really my only gripes with the console though, and hopefully they are problems that can be ironed out.

It's just another DC for me I'm afraid. Once PS4 comes out in Japan, this'll be sale thread fodder. They should have called it GameRectangle I reckon though.

The Pro Controller is a thing of beauty however.

He said he doesn't want a Wii U, which is odd as that's the very reason I bought it. It's mine now though. Muh ha ha etc.

You should give him the Wii U as punishment for losing his phone.

Really? Because the PS4 isn't out yet , won't be for another year at least, and even then there won't be anything significant out for it for a good two years after that (if the PS3 is anything to go by).

Whilst the WiiU MAY have a shorter life akin to the Gamecube, it will still get some quality titles out on it over the next few years. The DC may have been short lived, but whilst it was around it was still an impressive piece of kit with some impressive games.

Ok, so that's probably the final nail in its coffin for me. The transformation is complete. Nintendo is now just another Sony or Microsoft.

The Nintendo published titles (like I mentioned) all have more than 4 pages. They are definitely thinner than what they were on the SNES, but still far away much more substantial and traditional than anything else out there.

Hence why this is another DC for me. Once PS4 does come out, then this is historical, same as DC was once PS2 came out.

One other thing. How can I change my Mii's comment? It just says "I've been playing ZombiU" all the time. I was even in the menu to change it earlier, but I didn't and now I can't find it again.
