I finally worked out how to get online going. The only thing is I need to go through all these boring HR1 quests before things get interesting.

I'm a bit of an anal capture freak in that I feel like the hunt is a failure if I don't capture (which rarely happens as the monsters always sulk off to the same location and it's easy to lure them). How easy is it to co-ordinate caps with crazy online people who just wade in and wap? I can see that becoming a nightmare. Are drops generally better online?

Damn, I just read through some posts from last June and it sounds like you lot had a right blast, playing through online HR1 where I'm up to now (full Lagiacrus gear, all lvl4, and weapon). I feel like I missed the boat, digitalerally.

There's certain parts that have better chances with cap, and some are better with kills. Without wanting to go too technical, there's a few wikis and tools you can download, such as Pings 3U Dex. Much like the PokeDex where it has info on practically everything.
Such as quest data/ key quests, monster data weak points, which quests are more likely to drop what parts etc.

Then if you want to min-max your characters with godlike skills like sharpness +1, high grade earplugs, razor sharp all on the same armour set, then there's Athena Armour Set Search, otherwise known as Athenas A.S.S.

Anal capping just sounds wrong. WRONG.

Generally, just call cap, set a trap and take care of it.

I was dancing with two G.Jaggi last night like a ****ing athlete, my PSU plug just couldn't take it anymore and turned to liquid. I've got a proper 3-pin UK style one ready, can't wait to get it on. I love wiring plugs, it was the first technical thing I ever learned.

I've got three pieces so far. I need 4x ElderDragonBlood for the gloves which is going to be a pain.

I reckon I'll go for full sets of both Helios X and Z.

I forget how awesome the G.Lunemail is.

I'm not being facetious when I say this, but Great Luck and Divine Protection is overpowered.

I never used to have non attack based skills, but I loved these two skills.
