Luigi's Mansion 2/Dark Moon download size = 6, 748 blocks (in Nintendo speak).

      1 block = 128kB. That means 8 blocks = 1MB.

      So 6, 748 blocks = approx. 864 MB.

Not the biggest 3DS download (that honour goes to Resident Evil: Revelations), but you'd obviously want to have 1GB comfortably spare on your SD Card.

What an awesome little game this is. I've been playing slowly so that I 100% all the stages. I'm up to the fifth area now. Might shelve it for a while, so I can come back later.
          Kept you waiting, huh?

Just done that million sliding stair level that's twenty minutes of my life I won't get back who ever thought this would be a good level needs there head looking at. Apart from this minor misstep my only real issue is the lengthy levels it really could of been a wiiu game and would of solved some of the small screen issues this game has.

Great holiday game though Ive been doing a few levels each night when the kids are in bed luigi is at least keeping my beer intake down lol

Yea, the stairs level wasn't good.
I think when I finished this I had about 12 hours on the clock and I would have happily had 10 hours and ditch sections like this. Overall I really enjoyed the game bit there are a few levels that felt like filler.

Next mission for me now is Mansion 2-2. Quite frankly, the game is awesome. So many years to get a sequel and so glad they nailed it, the last mission had more new ideas added in it than some games manage over half their length. Luigi's Mansion HD Ninty! Now!

I'm also still enjoying this, not sure what mission I'm on exactly. Some bits are brilliant some bits so-so I have found.

Nintendo should HD all there 2DS/3DS stuff.

That's exactly how I'd describe the game myself. It starts off awesome, but goes downhill. Especially towards the end.

This even available in the download store? I couldn't find it the other day when I searched.
Edit. Showing in the search now.

I love this, seems the perfect use of 3D, the rooms and characters are packed with terrific detail, and Luigi's a great slapstick character. Animations and Martinez's voicework are hilarious. BUT...it's awfully glitchy for a Nintendo release. Within first 90 minutes the sound effects twice dropped out entirely, got black screen for two cutscenes

(seems triggered around ghost pooch scene in 1st mansion)

, plus a few more minor things. Takes the shine off it a little.

Really? Have you tried redoing those segments? Never experienced such glitches in the US version (cartridge).

Yes, really. Tried same section 3 times, for example, and sound glitch happened twice. The internet appears to be full of similar complaints about the glitches at that point I mentioned and throughout.
