I bought the season pass back when the game originally launched so I have no issues with the cost (working it out it has cost me about ?4.50).
I'm a huge fan of the main game and this gave me what I wanted: another glimpse of the world. The little details are incredible
the Twitter stuff, websites
and dragged me in further.
Seeing Ellie before she met Joel and explaining some of her back story was nice too.
Loved it! The length didn't bother me either.

Seriously Ted? I mean, it's probably my favourite non retro game, but -
Did you really think the crappy arcade machine game nonsense, the pointless brick throwing and water pistol mini games (because that's really all they were) were actually entertaining? The sexual elements of it were just a load of ****. A few tacked on combat stages and a crappy ending, whoopee. For the bulk of it nothing even happened. Trying masks on? Wow.
Maybe you don't feel ripped off at four quid, but for twelve I do. Lesson learnt though where DLC is involved.

Well I have just done it as well. It's pretty good but it is overpriced for what was a rather short side mission. I did enjoy the elements that were not Riley's story but it was short, probably because it's aimed at players that have finished the full game. Its reasonable enough but adds only a little to the core experience. Its better than some DLC (armoured horse anyone) but it was a story that didn't really need to be told. They would have been better off spending the time porting it to PS4 imo. I would play it again but its only alright. It adds the smallest amount to the story but not by Riley's story, by adding a section that was unanswered from the core game
Joels Rescue before Winter
probably only worth the same as skyrim DLC (?7-8 tops)Last edited by ETC; 15-02-2014, 15:53.
