Would like to play the multiplayer as seems interesting but got too many other games to complete!
The multiplayer is fantastic fun, really solid and well balanced.

      So I hate DLC.
      I love this game.
Some DLC gets released that adds an additional story part to the game.
      It's ?11.99.
      I buy it.
It takes maybe two hours to play it through.
      I still hate DLC.

Only two hours? Damn. Was it good at least, would it be worth me grabbing the game (I borrowed it to complete it) AND buying the DLC to experience?

It adds back story to Ellie, can't say it was particularly good if I'm honest. Definitely not worth the ?11.99 it cost. I would imagine down the line there will be a version released of the game with these added bits? At least then you'd be getting the full game too since you don't have it.

That sounds about right, cheers for the heads up.

I love TLOU but I think you just saved me ?12 there Colin.

I thought about this a little more this morning, and I actually think it's even worse than I mentioned last night. Avoid.

I bought the season pass back when the game originally launched so I have no issues with the cost (working it out it has cost me about ?4.50).

I'm a huge fan of the main game and this gave me what I wanted: another glimpse of the world. The little details are incredible

                  the Twitter stuff, websites

                  and dragged me in further.

Seeing Ellie before she met Joel and explaining some of her back story was nice too.

Loved it! The length didn't bother me either.

Seriously Ted? I mean, it's probably my favourite non retro game, but -

Did you really think the crappy arcade machine game nonsense, the pointless brick throwing and water pistol mini games (because that's really all they were) were actually entertaining? The sexual elements of it were just a load of ****. A few tacked on combat stages and a crappy ending, whoopee. For the bulk of it nothing even happened. Trying masks on? Wow.

Maybe you don't feel ripped off at four quid, but for twelve I do. Lesson learnt though where DLC is involved.

Well I have just done it as well. It's pretty good but it is overpriced for what was a rather short side mission. I did enjoy the elements that were not Riley's story but it was short, probably because it's aimed at players that have finished the full game. Its reasonable enough but adds only a little to the core experience. Its better than some DLC (armoured horse anyone) but it was a story that didn't really need to be told. They would have been better off spending the time porting it to PS4 imo. I would play it again but its only alright. It adds the smallest amount to the story but not by Riley's story, by adding a section that was unanswered from the core game

                      Joels Rescue before Winter

probably only worth the same as skyrim DLC (?7-8 tops)

To be fair though I'm a massive ND fanboy (bought the Ellie edition, both guides, art book & the comics) so I don't think I was ever going to be disappointed by it.

It's just a shame there'll be no more SP DLC. The last pack is more MP maps.

                        Still, maybe on PS4.

Finally got this downloaded after some messing around.

Anyway, it was good, but very short.

Currently playing the DLC. Pressing triangle to pun. Good fun.

While I understand that this also goes some way in filling in time skips of the main game I kinda of feel that the information there isn't totally essential. Maybe for a die hard fan but TLoU does so much of its story stuff well that I wouldn't consider it critical to experience this.

Well, the backstory is set after American Dreams graphic novel and it is nice to see but yeah, far from essential.

Took a few deaths for me to get used to the combat again as well! Really good but short. Should retail for half of what it does, really.
