I love that you have a data signal despite being in the wilderness! Are you "bear aware"?

Prinny, this is killing me that we're all off in our own little pockets playing this instead of rallying one big team!

I blame D3 for region locking, and the skanks on here, who couldn't organise a wank in a bedroom.

If it's any consolation, it's clear from playing it that the English version should drag the hardcore EDF men back into the fight for a second time. It's a great game.

It would help if you would let VP be a soldier-

Me - "what level are you up to on the game ?"

VP - "20, I can't go any further until Prinny comes round to play the game with me"

That's no way to fight a war........

Had a great time with this at the weekend. I had already played up to normal level 30 or so single player as the ranger, so when my friend cam around for pizza, beer and EDF we decided to even it out by both starting as new classes, he was the fencer and I was the Wing Diver. Managed to get up to about level 20 with those guys so it?s good to have three reasonably levelled up classes, rather than one absolute beast and the rest at zero progression. Sadly it looks like it only counts the levels completed with controller one, so levels 1-20 have counted for fencer but not for player 2?s wing diver (shame).
It took us a while to realise that one of the fencer missile weapons won?t lock on without the laser guidance from the support class though, which made for a tough level. Has anyone used these missiles? Are they really powerful enough to justify using a weapon slot across two characters? I did try being the support guy in that run before opting for wing diver but his startup loadout was pretty weak, a laser designator, one use airstike and the sticky explosive gun. I?m sure he gets better with turrets but getting to that stage might be tricky!

Everyone else is ragging 1 class?

Are you sure VP hasn't logged in on your account?

Now up to level 60-something on this game.

                    Epic.

Loving the new UFOs, the EDF2-style walkers, the walkers with shields, the dragons, the mothership and the transport ships that wink like an eye.

It's the level of new stuff I expected and, thankfully, Sandlot have delivered. And yet I haven't even touched the vehicles or new classes yet, nor the higher difficulty levels on most missions. There's so much scope for experimentation and tactics, I can't wait for the PAL translation.

This is *this* close to taking the top spot!

Completed the campaign on normal with the soldier (not the MP levels though).

I can't decide whether or not it's my favourite; I need more time with the other classes, their weapons and tactics, and the tougher difficulties to decide. One of the later levels we tried on hard and got reamed, yet it was pure EDF - we couldn't move for enemies, spider jizz and wasp knives.

There's some great big bads later on - four in particular stand out in my mind. Nothing to rival the massiveness and shock factor of the EDF2 centipede, but one comes mighty close.

Only a ponce wouldn't like this game.

If anyone wants to get stuck into this online again I am home from holiday and have an empty house for 2 weeks from Sunday!

Time to get back into the fight EDF EDF EDF!

(Well...Dragons Crown might get in the way I suppose )

I really am going to be the only one playing this in February for the EU release.

Damn you stupid early importers! I swear there should be some forum you can post on!

I was planning on 360, but If enough people with a PS3 get the EU version or you can play the JP version with players on the EU version, I may go PS3.

Nobody has a flippin' headset on PS3 though.

I'll be getting this on PAL 360, Chimpleton. Don't **** your pants - it's the mark of champions to play it again.
