Pok?mon X and Y review

I always save my Master Ball. Got Mewtwo and Zygarde with relative ease in Ultra Balls.

Figuring that Blaziken was adequate at Lv 76 for the moment I took it out of the party for the trip to the next town, with some sidetracking in Terminus Cave. The journey plus a bit of collecting and a Rare Candy and Xerneas is now Lv 59!

Anyone know why I get shaded icons for friends etc. when I am online?

Mewtwo proved a bit of a pain with regard to getting his health down. Couldn't quite get it to False Swipe territory, but caught it with the first Ultra Ball.

I am now up to 5 Friend Safaris (1 with 3 Pokemon and the rest with 2).

I now have breeding pairs of all the Pokemon from there that I didn't already have. I suspect I may be lacking in the ability department on some.

For Munna I have Synchronize and Forewarn on the Females
and Espurr with Infiltrator and Keen Eye on the Females

Doesn't really matter any more tbh, the version monsters arn't anything to really worry about and with the great online system on it you can just ask guys on here for something you need.

Is anyone still playing this? After a lot of pre-release excitement I had a huge GTA 5 and Mario 3D World inspired slump, and I've finally gotten back into it - now up to about 50 hours with about 170 Pok?mon in the 'Dex and 2 badges to go.

Such a brilliant game, and after some entries that I didn't enjoy or straight up didn't play (Diamond/Pearl and BW, respectively), this game shows just how good the core idea behind Pok?mon is. It does seem designed to play to the nostalgia of people who grew up with Red/Blue, too

A mate is playing it as well and so I'm spending most of my time trying to come up with movesets designed to infuriate him. Using my Alakazam to drop Future Sight, then Rest, then Sleep Talk is working great lol.

I haven'y played it in a while, though I have 8 Badges on Y (on my 2DS). Now have X running on my 3DS XL so ought to be able to get myself all the starters you get in the big city, though it will mean I will have to restart the game after some trading. I now have the three starters for the game without the need of any trades as you get a second one later in the game.

if you want to add me for the Friend Safari you get to after getting the last Badge and (I think) beating the Elite 4. Remember to save just before going to the Elite 4 as you may need to revise your tactics (I managed it on the second attempt I think). I'll check my Friend's Lists at some point to see if you added me.

Waaaaaaargh, this game is so much fun! Beating multiple slumps I am now into the post game, and will be adding every Friend Code I can find on this website in order to flesh out my Friend Safari.

Is anyone else still playing? I'm loving Restaurant Le Wow and Battle Maison. And just sitting in front of the TV Wonder Trading over, and over, and over...just one more Wonder Trade...it's definitely going to not going to be a Bunnelby this time...

I literally did everything I can think of in this game the first week I had it. Only thing left really is the online aspect which I'm not too keen on.

Even grinded out the Elite 4 over and over in order to buy all the vanity in the game.

I've spent 85 hours on it so far.

I'm so jaded that I completely forgot about that. No, I haven't done that in this game. I should really.

My game timer is on 80 hours myself.

It's an excellent game though, definitely one of the strongest in my opinion. They've fixed so many things wrong with the game and this was their first stab at proper 3D battles and it looks awesome.

Maybe that would give me something more to do in the game, though I haven't completed a Pok?dex since Ruby and Sapphire.
