I would of thought so, its a money making jugganaut that can't be stopped. It won't matter really what the quality is like, its hit rock bottom now so the only way is up.

Funny, there is always one version of a series that really breaks the patience level and from that point on its difficult to recover. All games series have them. Dark Souls will one day, as will Titanfall.

I always thought that Battlefield would overtake this series in the FPS MP stake, but going on the current version that has also hit bottom.

Still, COD cannot be beaten for quick "10 minute go" games of free-for-all in my book. IF only they could regain some of the magic of the original COD4 MW1....

Finished the game and thought the last 2 levels were brilliant and looked great . Don't get the hate this was a great COD game imo

The campaign is great fun all round to be fair. Remote sniper guns, going stealth as a dog, then of course some cool underwater and space bits. Yeah it's crazy but as my first foray into a campaign on new hardware it was thoroughly good popcorn entertainment. If anything it started badly with the Odin strike nonsense just a few seconds into the game. I'd have preferred a slower pace to build things.

Problem with this game is multiplayer. On XBO it's a barren wasteland with hardly anyone playing when I tried it out and the maps are fairly forgettable. To be fair I like the tweaks they made to the audio and I like the bigger maps but when all is said and done it just plays like it's playing safe. It's stale bread.

Just gone back to this after getting a new router (Draytek). Plays really well now. Also, I had forgot just how good the sound is on Treyarch games. You can hear all the players, where they are, footsteps approaching etc really loud and it make it makes a huge difference over the other developer whose sound has always been rubbish (still is on advanced warfare).

Also enjoyed lack of jumping in the air like a loon !

Finished my 1st play through, now doing a second on Veteran and mopping up remaining trophies. Enjoyed the campaign, the underwater, space stuff was pretty cool and there was a good variety of levels and vehicles. They've certainly improved on teammates AI (significantly) and whilst there is still the infinite spawns, insta-death with enemies 100m head-shotting you through a 1mm gap in the wall, it's a lot better (i.e. more forgiving) than the last COD game I played (MW2) and generally it's a lot easier to move from cover to cover. I noticed there's a bit more width to some of the levels so you use a variety of routes.

Have only played 1 game of multiplayer, actually finished in positive KD which is very unusual for me as I'm useless. Played a couple of game of Extinction, thought it was pretty cool, I think I'll be playing that a fair bit more. Unsurprisingly there are not a hell of a lot of players on PSN at the moment, I guess everyone's migrated to AW.
