Yeah, I know. I wouldn't take any "gamer" who gave this game less than a 9/10 seriously.

With this, OoT, Link's Awakening and the Seasons games, the 3DS is the best Zelda machine of all time. Given we know the 3DS does GBA emulation, it seems a little odd that they didn't release the GBA version of LttP as a downloadable title in advance of this one actually.

Good point. Lttp would be superb on the 3DS.

        Also, I want Majora's Mask in 3D!

Oh there is also Minish Cap too, which we got for that Ambassador thing, and that's a lovely little Zelda. And Four Swords adventure. And the DS ones are playable. 3DS is Zelda heaven.

Yeah, I would love a 3D MM and given that so many of the assets were created when they made OoT, I would really hope we'll see it at some point.

It's strange that they haven't touched the GBA library at all yet, outside of the Ambassador's Program.

They could make a killing with a lot of it.

I'd love to see some GBA on the 3DS too. A spot of Metroid Fusion would do me nicely.

My first dungeon disappointment in this - Turtle Rock. A tiny dungeon that I completed without getting to much of what was there. And it turned out all I missed was rupees. Needed more of a challenge.

Edit: Ice dungeon made up for it.

I completed the game on the weekend and I felt all the dungeons were on the tiny side. I averaged 30 mins for all the main dungeons and found the bosses extremely easy with the exception of the last boss which took quite a few more hearts of me than the rest of the bosses but i still beat him on my first attempt.

Are you finding it the same or is it just me? I only died once and that was me being an idiot on the dark palace boss which i should of beaten easily on my first try.

Overall its a great game but i'm tempted to give it an 8.5 instead of a 9 purely based on the fact that it wasn't anywhere near challenging enough. I wish Hero mode was offered at the start of the game without having to complete it first.

As for Majora's Mask i definitely think we will see it on the 3ds either next year or in 2015 but the one Zelda i want to see on it is a remake of Links Awakening in the same vein as A Link Between Worlds. They could call it Link's Re-Awakening!!!

Yes, a lot of the dungeons are pretty small and the boss battles are definitely too easy and all share the exact same strategy. But the only place I really found the dungeon size to be a problem was that Turtle Rock one. All the others I still found rewarding and there was the odd part that required some thought.

                      This sounds rather disappointing.

It's not. It's mostly awesome. In fact, I'd say it's probably my favourite Zelda in years. It's the first one that I really felt I wanted to explore and find everything and the game constantly rewards progress. I didn't get that feeling in any of the post-N64 Zeldas.

Wouldn't surprise me, interested to see what this is like I'm picking up a copy for Christmas, but don't hold out much hope as this looks to be trying to go down memory lane.

Hopefully it will at least be better than the total 3D remake of link to the past, still all the top down Zelda have been very good so who knows.

I take it you have to finish the game twice based on some of the posts, sounds like Nintendo are up to there replay game trick to increase lenght.

To me its the perfect handheld game. You can do a dungeon or just to searching for secrets in 15-30 minutes, or you can play the cuccos mini game for a short blast, all usually taking a lot more time and hours fly by. So if you don't have loads of free time you can still enjoy the story and game.

Love this, its like a teeny tiny handheld skyrim but the nintendo way, charming, fun to play and great in short or long sessions

And why would you HAVE to finish this twice? There's the Hero mode for those who want to play through again with higher difficulty, but that's just extra and it's nice that it's there.
