A bit of trolling for fun in the news / hype section is fine, but please leave it out of First Play.

The driving at Bathhurst is amazing fun - reminds me of Forza1's hillclimbs and descents.
I've not tried Forza since Forza2, but the sonics are incredible and the handling is sublime - my son can play on easy and I can play on veteran - it's like too different games, but both are top fun.

So far, only details are that it give you the first 6 car packs. No mention of tracks. I'm assuming that more tracks will be released later, but perhaps that'll never happen.....

I can see them cashing in with tracks from the series hence why they dropped them from this version

Was going to get this but ive been put off, Beyond the slightly shinier graphics, is there any point in this game, it has less tracks and a lot less cars than Forza 4, I'm guessing it plays very similar?

Is it actually any better than forza 4?

If someone wants to send me their copy of Forza4 I can answer that. I'd like to review F5, but I think that sort of detail would be useful to readers.

This is the first game ever that I actually like the in-car view and prefer it to bonnet cam.

It's probably one of the first games where the framerate does die in the in car view

For me, personally, it's not a better game than Forza 4. However the foundations are so good with the series it's still a great game in itself.

How do I get the MP412C and my Day 1 car pack please? I've entered the codes and done the installs.

Just been on the Forza forums: "Car packs install car model code but do not automatically provide them for use in single player mode - credits or tokens are required to add them to your FM5 garage. "

What's this? Is this normal for Forza DLC?

Does using the QR code automatically input both codes that are on the forza 5 card I got with the day one edition? I can't see where anything's been added either.

Find myself getting lost in this though, apparently I've played it for 7 hours, I think the most I've played any of my others is about 2 or 3.

I had to enter the 2nd code manually I think.
You then have to install them. Go to the app's tile e.g. on the game/app list and press the start button or whatver it's called now and you'll see the add ons section. That will also show you if the code has been entered yet or not - if it's not there, you'll have to do it manually.

Then you have to save up and buy them in the game.

If like me you've only played Forza2, then I can highly recommend this - the handling is on a different level! Dropping through the esses at Laguna Seca was amazing! Yes!

Has anyone had a race online with more than one other person. Matchmaking never seems to work right :/
