Coolo. I only mention it because the message from Turn10 said "Log in daily to receive your credits" - could be meaningless though.

I tried the Atom with the TCS on - it was totally hobbledNo fun at all, but necessary for the "through the cones event" which was a tough one with tight gaps. I hope people take the risk and try without TCS and SCS otherwise, you are missing out on a large chunk of the experience.
Some of your drivatars in the Atom are really good as well, trying to remember which gamer tags they were now. I know charles is always up front and challenging the race, Boris tends to start slow then come from nowhere towards the end. I think if they can work out some of the kinks with drivatars this needs to become the standard in all racing games.
Anyone had any good experiences online yet? I am still only getting a few people at most in a lobby : (

The drivatars are ok, but the sudden drop in speed in corners when there is a group is dreadful. So many times I've crashed into the back of a bunch of cars that seem to be "stuck" in the corner at half the speed they should be going
Also, there's no consistency - I've bashed into the back of someone who suddenly hits the brakes going into a flat-out 6th gear corner, hit rewind and the following time they didn't back off at all. This has happened time and again. When I pumped up the drivatar level, they just did all the same things but faster!
However, there is a certain level of unpredicatability that is good, so you can't take the mickey into corners because they might suddenly veer across to keep the inside line (off the racing line).

Yeah I noticed that too, I had to rewind once as I got shunted off the track and the car in front had spun out. After the rewind the guy in first just flew off no spin at all so seems everybody not just you gets a chance to correct their mistakes!
I have had the group on a corner issue too, means you tend to go wide sometimes and this will probably hurt your drivatar thinking you take every corner wide. Like you say though it is better than normal AI either way as it's not a straight froward race and I have had some good battles with AI that I haven't had in any other racing game.

I have 230k after about 30 gold races (maybe a few more for replaying to get golds) and having bought an Ariel Atom and an Impreza 22B. I don't think there's going to be any problem progressing through the championships, buying a relevant car for each one. But I have no interest in "collecting" all the cars.

How much space does sky drive give you?
I logged on last night and my drivatar has been in 75 races in 3 days. Got a good wod of cash for that. As such I don't see it as a major problem to get cars in all classes, you've got a new revenue stream as an alternative to getting bonus cars.
As for the realistic AI. I noticed mine is at 35% sync so still a lot of learning to go which has to be the same for everyone. Surely they would improve as you play and we should end up with a half decent random box of butters by the end of it?

I think that the driveatars have data specific to each track (notice you can look at it per track) , so if you are racing the same track over and over you are less likely for that sync to increase. Part of me wonders if they have deliberate held back tracks because of this also.
