Basically I ****ing hate the game and just sick and tired of the unfairness
It's pretty and a marvel but still the usual same problems in all the mario kart games
Trying to get stars in all the levels and on the 100cc it took me 4 goes and on 3 of the four courses I would get firet place and then on one of the levels on the last corner of being first and being first for most of the race I would get smacked with 4 red shells, a blue one and other crap which would mean I would end the course in 6th or 7th and on one of them I couldn't even catch the leaders and all I would get is a mushroom or a coin
Whereas on one course I was third and watched the first two get red shells and I would end up with a coin and I've saw it a lot
So before I pretty much smash up my controller I'm done with it, trials frontier last week cost me my Ipad2 when I smashed it off the floor so would rather it wasn't an expensive month lol

I've played about 3 games online and did enjoy it finished 6th, 4th and 2nd out of 11 I think
I have played one level on 150cc and ended up in 4th overall and that was me at max speed unless I was being thumped by every other opponent
So unsure if I need a faster cart or faster attachments like wheels or gliders
But its a kart driving game and I have 2 children and work full time so don't really have time to study each course on IGN

IGN's track guide ie tips and shortcuts is literally 60 seconds per track. As long as you're boosting after all jumps/corners etc and staying on track you're halfway there.
Kart/glider etc isn't too important for online to be honest, but using a heavy character for a better top speed is.
I've played about 15 times online and had a good experience everytime too to be fair.

First DLC pack is out, at least in the US, so I gave the new old B Dasher a spin in both new cups...I absolutely love the Excitebike track, very simple but tons of jumps. The Mario Galaxy and F-Zero inspired tracks are almost entirely and entirely (respectively) played in hover mode, and the SMG one in particular is as twisty as you would imagine from a serpentine dragon. Mute City doesn't have coins, instead you get F-Zero repair lanes that give you them; also, you should try firing a mushroom there. Hyrule Castle is....meh: I like the idea of rupees instead of coins and the various sound effects, but it's nothing special. Ice Ice Park is an other nice track, probably my second favourite among the new courses.
The revamped Rainbow Road (SNES) is somewhat of a letdown, way too wide and way too similar to the original: shave off a couple of tiles from either side, reduce curve radius, and it would have been great.

The Rainbow Road track gets mighty hectic though, lots of fun. The Wario Gold Mine is my favourite. So fast and exciting. The Wii has some great tracks but the game was too slow to enjoy.
This is great DLC. I wonder also if the items have been balanced because I keep getting stronger items at front.
