Reminds me if the early days if Live before every online game became cluttered with all the the features that are expected nowadays- feels nice to play something like this!

You can set up tournaments and keep them private I believe. Means that you can have multi race games and the points tally as in the grand prix. Tracks are still random though and items are only slightly customisable.

sorry if already mentioned elsewhere, but you know that free game they give you? you also get wii u premium points for it. just checked, after claiming free Monster Hunter and i was credited with ?42 worth of points, so now i have another free ?5 towards NES Remix 2. thanks nintendo!

On-line is so basic its almost laughable really . Its like a Dreamcast game and speaking of which some of the tracks feel and look like they're straight from Pen Pen Tri . Lovely game but I still say Mario Kario 64 featured the better courses, better handling and did more to take the series forward than any other Mario Kart to date . Still this looks and plays great and that's all that counts , doesn't really matter its nothing new when its made this well

I tend to agree with this ... It does seem that the MP side of things was tacked on at the last minute .. Even the Wii and 3DS versions have better presentation that this...

Finally sat down to play this game this afternoon and i have to say so far its not gripping me at all. Im just not finding it at all satisfying, I'm hoping it will grow on me the more i play it. It could possibly be due to the fact that i have played so much of Mario Kart over the years that its just nothing really new.
