Ran black spindal 3 times last night god it was hard work but we got it done with 30 seconds to spare, the hard bit is the time limit and getting the blights as soon as they spawn, if you don't you can get overrun really quickly

I couldn't do it in the end. We were all around 280 with poor primary's and just couldn't clear rooms quick enough. Oh well. Don't really need it now with The Hearafter which is lucky.

Failed to get a black spindle yesterday after 3 tries...need 1 minute more each time. Oh well....maybe next time

We were all 300+ using raid weapons with taken damadge buffs.

The spindal is the most powerful sniper in the game damadge wise as it can res snipe which is great for trials. I've had The hereafter for a bit it has a really cool blinding perk which procs quite a bit and is super useful in pvp and pve.

Stillpiercer is largely the same as The Hereafter, but doesn't take up the Exotic slot, which is why I like it so much. I can run the Boolean Gemini instead.

The Black Spindle mission will be a lot easier when we all have primaries with elemental damage from the heroic raid. A team I was attempting it with yesterday had just a single enemy left to kill in the final room, after having killed the boss, before the timer ran out. Won't be trying again now until we get those elemental primaries.

Swords are your friend in the last room. Exotic swords even more so. The Stormcaller Super is amazing too.

For the Black Spindle mission, we found swords to be our best friends.

In the boss room, don't bother with any adds or blights to begin with, just take the boss down asap. Supers, swords, melt it. Don't even bother with revives, just jump up, dish out as much damage as possible, likely die, repeat. Once the boss is dead the blights stop spawning so you just clear out what is left in the room, whereas with the boss alive it's an unending army of death.

First run I did I had 10 seconds left as one person was adamant he should be on add duty. On the second, all three of us did as above, completed with over 3 mins left on the clock.

Anyway...

Hard King's Fall next Friday. "Recommended Light for Hard Mode is 300 – 320. The loot that will drop will be between 310 – 320." Can't wait.

We were using the first tactic from the reddit guide, which is supposed to be the easiest method. Two of us were using Stormcaller, but wasn't keen on it as it meant being amongst the enemies, which often resulted in death.

Wondering in Vs multiplayer it says level advantage disabled but do the weapon advantages matter ?

Level 15 but really getting wasted by level 40 players so dunno if it is the weapons or just the skill level

Also is the light level like the paragon level in diablo 3 ?

All weapon, armour and guardian levels are levelled in crucible (unless it's iron banner or trials of Osiris).

Only the perks on weapons have any effect. So finding weapons like thorn, last word, tlalock with awesome perks become the difference in the pinch face offs.

Unless you stumbled into iron banner you were probably just defeated due to experience.

Outside of Iron Banner and Trials, all multiplayer is regulated down to Light Level 170. You can rock Hard Light and the Symbiote like a boss.

You're likely dying because 40's are better players and their Exotic perks are better than your blue gear. Just keep playing. You're no less powerful than anyone else.

I actually got the highest score in an IB game for the weekly bounty...5000points. I never thought I'd see the day

To add context, my 3 game spread was 750, 5000, 675 haha
