I'm drowning in Energies. Not in Exotic Shards. Ofcourse I shard my old once I have Wolfpack so no damage is done. But the XP mang, guess I run story dlc again (alt) on Heroic with it equipped.

Finally got my PSN card today so installed the DLC had friends invite me to do the new Nightfall mission which is a bit rush. Also did the first story mission as well which is also just a run around on the standard earth map. New guns aren't great either anyone ant to run VoG in 30 minutes time?

Also here is how you win a crucible match as the top player with a level 7 character and the default weapon.

He obviously got a good connection on the match. I find the crucible very hit and miss at the moment. I'm normally at the top of the list kills and kd ratio wise consistently. Tonight I've been at the bottom every match against what I can only describe as joke matches. Players running around with permanent powers on virtually, I watched one player activate golden gun constantly, one guy running around in permanent hunter arc blade too. Just rediculous.

Haha. Some bemused players that game I reckon. I went through most of the new raid last night and got my first piece of raid gear - some boots for my hunter, plus radiant materials. This new raid is shorter than VoG, is a bit less problem-solving and more all-out-combat. Still lots of tactics to work out yet, but at the moment I would say that titans (both sub-classes) are going to be invaluable. I wouldn't even think about attempting it unless you're at least lvl30 with fully levelled weapons as there are lvl30+ enemies throughout and it gets very vicious very quickly. You'll be feeling vulnerable enough even at lvl30 with fully levelled weapons. The hard mode (at lvl33) is going to be insane.

Absolutely detest people using the vex mythoclast in pvp. Bloody thing wipes you out instantly, should be totally banned.

Also trying to do the exotic weapon bounty for thorn. Loose your void points if you get killed, awesome, just awesome.

VM has become the new Suros Regime. It seems everybody has got it except me when I'm in the Crucible. I've come up weapon empty on each hard VoG completion. No Fatebringer or VM.

I just had a run of games against a clan that was all equipped with vm, plus they were organised to a tee. It was a slaughter, that's the only way to describe it.

Thanks to another run on vog with bccas and sm3 I obtained the Atheons epilogue auto rifle with void damage. That's going to make the thorn exotic bounty step in the crucible bearable instead of excrutiatily painful

Yep, that'll be essential for that bounty, I wish I had it when I was doing that one. It's also really good for the Raid too once fully powered up as it has VOG-specific perks.

I tell you I jumped for joy when I realised it had void damage on a primary weapon, super fast fire rate as well it's my kind of crucible weapon. I was this close to breaking it down too, good job I double checked its stats.

That yellow that popped up for me on the raid was a portion of the scout rifle exotic bounty, did a section of it.

You'll soon stop smiling when you get to the last step of that bounty... It's a level 26 version of the Phogoth strike. I've soloed it up to the first wave of enemies in the Pits, but cannot get the second and third waves to spawn (the third wave contains Xyor the Unwed). Those Knights are brutal...

There's always a catch or several with the exotic bounties. I'll do the last part of that bounty with some mates I think.

On PS3 Lebowski thanks for the offer though. Some of the strikes and raids are hard enough in a group let alone on your own, especially when like me you've been stuck for 60hours with a blue primary :/.
