You don't need any new armour to get to level 34, all you need is 1 exotic shard (to ascend an exotic peice of armour) and 3 etheric lights to upgrade existing legendaries.

I upgraded my dont touch me gauntlets already, so just need the 3 ethiric shards. Though given how harsh the rng is to me in this im never going to get that from a nightfall, and less likely from osiris too. Well see what happens, hopefully its a bit fairer than grinding for radiant stuff from croata, which i found a nightmare.

Can't say I've seen any exciting weapons either in HOW, let's face it though who's going to give up there Fatebringers, Vision of confluence & Word of Crota?, once those 3 are upgraded with ethiiric light your bases are covered.

the quickest way to 34, use an exotic shards to upgrade your exotic helm to get them to the new light level, run the lvl 32 Prison, this give you an armour core so you can buy new light level gloves off varikis. now you only need two ethric light one for your boots and one for your chest.

love the new co-op but i still miss matchmaking for the Nightfall strike. they could have introduced an area in the tower where gamers in demand of help gather and team up.

oh and weren't we supposed to trade in our accumulated materials now? i think it was with the Speaker right?

This should have been the whole point of the social spaces really. They need an in-game mechanism for teaming-up with randoms that doesn't involve messing about on external websites.

Yes, just take all your spare materials to him.

@fishbowlhead When deciding what exotic helm to ascend, choose wisely. Opt for one that will be useful in PoE. Light Beyond Nemesis, for example, would be the best choice for warlocks as it increases the number of orbs you produce, and increases speed for reviving team mates - all highly useful for PoE.

Just did a 2nd run with an alt (warlock) of PoE lvl34 and it was a lot easier once you know what you're doing. Oh, and the lvl34 boss is so much easier with 3 warlocks.

they could have a nightfall lounge go in sit about wait for people who want to nightfall, with the option to invite them to your fireteam. But if they did this i don't see how it would be much different to match making with randoms, id say its been very hit and miss doing weekly heroics as with randoms sometimes you get a great team other times you get people that hang about a room behind not really engaging in the content.

hit their player cards and report them to Bungie for unfriendly or unhelpful behavior! i did this twice already. one was always dying and not willing to help out in a weekly strike and the other was refusing to share his farm spoils with me and even sent me a nice message to p*ss off.

How did he do that? im genuinly curious as i thought bungie split it all evenly to stop that type of behaviour, well everyone in the fireteam gets rewards regardsles that is.

no it was no strike, i met this friendly guy while patrolling the Kosmodrom. we both wanted to farm the yellow Knights in the first cave.

Oh right I understand. It can be a little frustrating farming specific enemies for a bounty and there's 5 people standing there. Doesn't happen that often. If I see people farming and I've butted in I give them a bow and walk off, even had a guy message me saying thanks for the friendly curtesy

You do realise if your farming you get glimmer kills and drops via location. the knight area you mention as long as you stay near other people and fire a few shots you both get credited for the knight kills on your bounty's and the glimmer and drops, no such thing as steeling each others kills.

now the swords of croat that was another matter, lost count of the amount of times i got my sword stolen before i realised you could just run the fist of crota mission a few times lol

exactly, there is no need to defend a farming area against other players. but that guy seemingly wasn't aware and sat in front of the spawning room to prevent respawns and make his point clear.

I went to him with Ascendant materials in me yesterday and all I could do was swap either for the other, exchange for Motes of Light and exchange for Glimmer.

Being as Ascendant materials are now useless with the new gear, I found this new feature pointless.

So far I've done the story missions for all 3 characters, thought they were pretty good, well thought out and put together.
Done one nightfall which was tough as none of us knew any good spots to keep out of trouble.
Will be trying the prison either tonight or tomorrow so I'm looking forward to trying it.
So much stuff has dropped for me I'm struggling to keep track of it all, the new sidearm is pretty good if you've not tried it yet.
Still waiting for the ghorn to drop, nearly 900 hours!!!

i have played the demo of this only seems a fun game but i will wait till all the dlc is released and see what it is like then
