Yeah there is more than that.

I have hit a brick wall now. I really enjoyed the missions and exploring, but it has just turned back into going into areas I have completed before to do essentially the same thing.

As a expansion it is lacking in content considering what MMOs get.

Love the game though, but it still needs need more content.

More content or more locales? There is so much content, it's stupid. I still have four quests to go myself.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

More locales id say and more varied story missions. There's what, 8 main story arc missions in the narrative? half of those are in previously used areas, again, which leaves 4 missions which cover more new ground than old. The dreadnaught is under used in the story, yes its the main focus of it, but you're hardly there and do virtually no missions that ask anything of you. One of the later ones that asks you to plant buoys comes to mind as insultingly lazy.

The strikes are ok, not amazing as i said. I feel sorry for xbox owners as they are missing one, giving them even less content.

When you say there's loads to do, your right there is, it's just that "loads to do" is yet more grinding for pointless weapons that will be nullified in a month's time.

Barring the raid, and the perpetual grind, this small expansion is an afternoons fodder at best. For ?40, or even more if you plumped for the other versions, it's insultingly overpriced.

That's EXACTLY it though. The story mode is merely a narrative. The initial missions set up the new locales perfectly, which then leave you to go off and quest at your leisure. Are you perhaps looking for a single-player title, which just throws up mission after mission for you to play through? Destiny is not that game at all.

I'm not sure that more areas would actually add anything to the game myself. Considering you are killing the same types of enemy repeatedly, does it really matter where you are doing it?

There are two variations of most Strikes too. One will be The Taken, one will be one of the other four groups.

Im not sure how more variation in levels and areas wouldn't improve it. Would it have been that hard for bungie to include an extra patrol area for variations sake? say the queens ketch debris field outside the drednaught? you could patrol amongst the debris with the crashed ships creating big open areas as they've collided with each other, doing missions for the awoken recovering the queens remains, opening up her secret areas gaining some nice weapons. Honestly i didn't find TTK acceptable for ?40 before i played it, and even less so after.

We've all been patrolling the same areas for over a year now, the addition of just the dreadnaught just isn't enough. Activision want more money? well give me more game then.

I don't agree with anything you are saying. There is absolutely ZERO need for any of this "Variation's sake". The Dreadnaught is absolutely huge. You can already patrol both The Hull Breach and the Mausoluem within it. Why would you want to patrol outside of it? The idea is that you are trying to find Oryx and defeat him. He isn't going to be found floating around in space with a load of crashed spaceships. This part of the story isn't about the Queen. You aren't making any sense.

I honestly think you don't understand what Destiny is about if I'm brutally honest. I don't know why you even bother playing it if you dislike it so much either. You seem to want Destiny in it's ENTIRETY right now from what I can gather. Maybe come back in five years' time.

Today's daily heroic mission is another one with an alternate ending, find 3 ghosts to open a portal. No black spindle type prize though.

just keep on playing and you see the new quests will come in frequently and some of them offer even decent rewards like a new exotic sword. but don't expect any new content. Destiny is and will always be about grinding and investing hours upon hours to find a new super weapon which probably will be sold by Xur one weak after you get it.

The Dreadnaught is not huge. Look at something like World of Warcraft. When there is an expansion in that game and it offers a new area, that is what I call huge.

Ken rolls when he does his throw. What difference does that make?

Apologies if this has been answered but can you actually spend Motes of Light on anything worthwhile any more?

You need some to infuse weapons but otherwise not really.
Best used for levelling your weapons up or gaining rep with your faction.

That sucks. I have about 100 of them to spare now.

I think I have enough light now to do a raid. If I could get added and you don't mind showing me the ropes, I would love to give it a crack.

I have hit a wall now in terms of PVE content. I only have two quests, but they require a raid apparently. I did get invited to a group last night, but got kicked out as soon as they knew I had not done a raid before lol.
