Just picked this up a PS4 and TTK I'd happily join if you're free (evenings)? Got a friend thing with [MENTION=12048]BaronSqwelch[/MENTION] atm (Hunter lvl15). Would it work if sent you one or rolled with a new character? As got to start on 2 other character classes regardless, no idea how the referral thing works tbh.

Friend stuff has to be a total new player and account, a real sign the game is in trouble, it's impossible to get matches on some of the crucible playlists at the moment but Bungie won't put that out in any press release, game needs to start adding A.I. Bots

Seriously bcass if your're buying a copy just to get the friend stuff, you might want to seriously think about getting some help far more important things in life to spend your money. Giving the money to charity for Christmas would be a far better use of it.

What I've played of the TTK is pretty weak the new content is rather lacking even for the ?30 price tag I got it for, guns are heavily unbalanced in crucible, couldn't kill anything with my highest autorife, then got a 310 Jade Rabbit and started dominating the matches. Autorifles and Handguns are nerf

Many of the new quests are really short, the king's fall raid is a real let down multiple routes my arse, just a lot of jumping puzzles. The game is losing players in droves and seems unlikely to recover just not enough new content here it's 2 months tops.

Just a heads up - the war priest challenge is live until weekly reset. If you complete it on hard mode, you are guaranteed a 320 weapon and 320 artifact.

I have done it on 2 out of 3 characters so far, it's not so bad. The challenge is, someone different has to hold the aura each time.

I'd agree at the start of the taken King there seemed so much to do but it all drys up pretty fast. I kind of see it as a blessing that the majority of people I've been Raiding with have all turned into nobs, I wish they had done It 500 hours sooner as I'm currently close to breaking the 1000 hour mark, according to the time wasted on destiny site.

For players like me the only thing left to do weekly now is the Kingsfall hard mode raid, with the hope Of getting a drop that will increase the lvl of one of the armour or weapon spots I've yet to max out. Hitting that 320 light lvl is the ultimate goal but once there then what? Wait for the next dlc to make your weapons and armour obsolete, so you can start the grind again?

It's good fun, shame there is only 2 tracks though.

On the plus side, with 3ofCoins working on it, it rained engrams. Even got 2 in one race! Even got 2 heavy engrams, so need to try out the new improved Dragons Breath later.

Got a 310 mida from the night fall too so was a productive day. Used all my armour parts infusing a kiosk bought armamentarium upto 310 though.

I got a 295 ghost from my first nightfall which sucks as my characters are all around 312-314 light. Still got 2 nightfalls to go. I usually find I get 2 rubbish drops and 1 decent.

310 mida though is a great drop though, nice one

Done my destiny for the week, golgoroth challenge mode was surprisingly easy, it requires everyone to get golgoroths gaze per cycle but can still be done just using the one pool stratergy.

number everyone 1-6, odd numbers on the left, even on the right. No 1 (me last night) takes gaze everyone else drops the first orb and jumps in the pool to damadge golgoroth. At 4 seconds no 2 jumps out to takes the gaze, and then 3 to 6 all take turns (in number order) taking the gaze until they have all had it once. It's then just a case of rinsing and repeating for 3-4 cycles to take him out.

No 1 controlling the room and calling out who needs to do what made it a very calm and easy afair and netted me a 320 chest. so now the only things i haven't got in 320 are my helmet ghost and cloak, 317 overall now.

My two buddies got a 300 Smolder and a mystery emote drop for them...to say they were salty would be an understatement

Doing the Golgo challenge tonight, then Trials tomorrow. Got 5 wins last week so after going 2/3/5 in my first three tries I'm going after 7 this week. See if my Crucible practice is paying off. Fingers crossed for a good map!

It's dead on last gen platforms as most have moved on to next gen now. No noticable increase in matchmaking times on PS4 for any activity, and LFG is always full of people wanting to do raid, trials, nightfall, and quests on PS4.

I wasn't overly impressed with the sparrow racing at first, it seemed a bit shallow, but after a couple of days play it's grown on me. The racing and handling models definitely need some tweaking, but as a freebie it's actually pretty decent. They haven't just cobbled this together in a few weeks, some thought has gone into it.

Next weeks challenge is going to be fun with Oryx. It's obvious that there's going to have to be someone different taking the relic each phase. Wouldn't surprise me if they add another mechanic to it too.

I'm so glad that they added these challenge modes as it means that there's no need to run the whole raid every week any more.

I imagine it will be something simple like don't use the same spark runners, or finish it by not missing any Knights/bombs. Making it so at least 4 people will have to do the jumps will off balance a lot of teams as set roles and playing to a teams strengths is how people have been successfully doing this

The problem with challenge mode is that it can't change things up too much as its not a separate mode it needs to keep things simple for those who are completing oryx without being bothered about doing the challenge mode.

Doing Golgoroth yesterday really showed how many people have dodged taking gaze over the weeks!
