Yeah like i said its cod with titanfall rips...it brings nothing of its own of note to the table in mp.

Next one i'll buy day one will have dedicated servers and cut the novelty bs, also hoping for a return to ww2 setting too. Saying that mind i'd buy into an "anniversary edition" perhaps a mix of mw1+mw2 upgraded for next gen, with best maps/perks etc from both games, along with a small amount of balancing.

I'd imagine that would be an easy, fast cash grab....they wont do it however because those games are so much better than the latest garbage they offer up, despite pouring ungodly amounts of money into them, so why would they want us playing anything else?

    Here's looking at you blizzard.

A follow up to World at War would be amazing. Surly its time to dip back into that pot.

Just picked this up on PS4 and I'm really enjoying it.

Not played a COD since Modern Warfare 3 so my enjoyment might be reliant on the fact I've forgot what made me tire of the series but the slick combat, lack of hand holding (In terms of a COD game) and little gadgets is involving me more than previous games. I'm also kind of in awe of the graphics and there's been some wonderful moments in Single Player.

As I'm not yet a PS+ Subscriber I've had a few run arounds in LAN Party just to see the maps and guns and had a quick question. In that mode, all the guns and options seem unlocked, when I do pick up PS+ to play online, do they require unlocking as normal?

I completed this over the weekend and despite enjoying the single player, I don't think I'll be playing it again anytime soon. The problem with games like COD:AW, Uncharted 2 and countless others are that it takes control away from the player so frequently, it does not feel like you're playing levels but pieces. Max Payne 3 is the best example, slick gameplay but it allows you to clear 1 room of bad guys before loading and then showing a cutscene for several minutes. Naughty Dog learnt it's lesson with The Last of Us, where despite being a story and cut scene lead game, it's full of gameplay uninterrupted by constant interruptions! Hopefully, Sledge Hammer, Raven, Infinity Ward and god knows who else who works on Call of Duty will offer a more free from experience in the future.

Multiplayer wise I'm really disappointed. The beautiful control, fun weapons and interactive gadgets are squandered for me with maps that are dull, uninspiring and with no flair to the design or lay out. Maps live or die by their design and after previous games in the series such as COD2, MW and MW2 having some absolute classics, it's sad to see the series have such a bad selection. The only one I've played that I liked was the area with chunks of gold dug out of the mountains as it's tight, looks distinctive and inspires just the right flow through the level into various choke points that it's nice to play.

But that alone is not enough and the other maps on offer make me think I won't be playing it for much longer. I think I'll be going back to Battlefield 4 as despite its faults, the gameplay is solid and the maps on offer are brilliant. Except that mountain side prison, that can go and die in the woods!

Picked this up in 360 for super cheap after selling my Xone version as the MP server was always unfindable meaning I didn't even get 1 game of MP.
360 version still has trouble finding the server from time to time & sometimes my connection drops out & it signs me out too. Have had a few games online & it does feel ok & just a bit of mindless fun but is defo NOT COD imo.

The biggest issue i have tho is that on top of the server issue it also crashes my console & freezes quite regularly.
How can they release a game like this that has imo the worst online issues so far in a COD game?
