Glad my RNG luck 'rolled' over into Splatoon. A handful of rolls presented me with this:

That's my ranked gear sorted for good, I think.

Good games, Lurch. Unfortunately there were a few poor players in that pool leading to lob-sided results each round.

Yeah good games, cheers Dave Anyone having connection issues at all? I've been getting booted out of ranked matches quite often and losing points, which is a bit annoying. Probably just my internet connection...

I've had that happen tonight several times...very annoying

Nothing too serious, lag in a couple of occasions, with the terrain not registering paint. I guess it was due to the console downloading an update.

I've had around a handful of disconnects over the 120 hours or so that I've played.

Another new map unlock for tomorrow (3am GMT). Kelp Dome.

Ah looks sweet! Just hit rank 14, hopefully 15 later tonight.

So many Krak-on Rollers! Tonight three matches where I was the only one not using that in my team. In one instance, the opposing team had two.

That's been my weapon of choice for over a week now, but I'm looking forward to trying the Splash-O-Matic tomorrow.

Haven't played this for almost a week. Need to get back on it.

Loving this. Very tactical and so much fun. Needs more content though.

It's very nice until you get gang-splatted by Krakens

Seriously, I'm very happy with Splatoon, a real joy to play. Hit level 19 today, and as you said, more maps would greatly improve the overall situation. However, after so many hours into it, I've come to know the available maps very well and I'd almost be scared by new maps The real downer in Turf War is when your team has two or more snipers...almost guaranteed loss. Sniper rifles are good for killing people, and cutting down enemies is a viable strategy, but only up to a point.

I traded it in today. In the end I did end up enjoying the game and I'd be more optimistic of a sequel down the line thanks to this but Splatique set in and playtime drifted to a halt. The biggest issue remains the initial biggest concern, Nintendo released the game unfinished and the weekly updates don't offer enough to sustain my interest. I've too much else to play to wait for them to release the second half of the mp.

There's a solid foundation here though and loads that a sequel could add. The 8/10 reviews seem bang on

Same, been tied to MH4U recently.

Level 20 today, and probably found my gear combo, if the shops do not restock more high level attire.

Love the new Bluefin Depot level: a great no man's land and tough to get up to your opponents' base. I've clocked 60 hours so far, and I've never really been a fan of online shooters.
