Was just watching this match and realised that the Timer stops during a CA animation, the amount of time I have lost/or been saved by a last second Super

Yeah. For a player that is mainly interested in the core game there is very little on offer. Costumes/skins tend to be the main draw when it comes to battle passes in other games but I do not care what my avatar looks like, at all. Hell, I even chose a preset because I couldn't be bothered to create a character of my own.

I still haven't seen a good design from create a character be made, it was the same when the SC series brought in customisation etc, thankfully I can retain seeing those to online which I never bother with either

I think they've done well, in that they've sectioned it to its own mode, split from the core fighting experience. Personally I really like the avatars as a daft bit of fun, but I like that they only interact with the "proper" characters in World Tour.

Yeah I got to make Rainbow Mika and Mike Haggar at least. Very happy with it.

Come on now you can't just post that and not show us pictures.

I am really bad at this kind of stuff but I have seen some really good avatars, as well as monstrosities.

It seems like Drive Rush is kinda like a v2.0 of Focus Attack Dash Cancelling from SF4.

Drive Rush I'm okay with, but I am mainly having trouble of when to apply a decent Drive Impact. I am forever getting caught with it by my opponents. Like maybe new players are using it more whereas ppl coming from SFV are a little more considered or in my case, not at all

I win soooo many matches with it when you get down to a very low health, people often overreach and throw random things at you to get that last tap.

Yeah that would be the perfect scenario. Catching someone over committing and then closing out the round. Just I'm scared to get counter impact or something. When are the most safest DI opportunities? Someone committing to a string i.e. Jamie's rekka. A sneaky long reach for when there not quite in the corner, but the DI will put them there with splat? Does it work as an anti-air or does opponent recover in time?

Right for those of you looking to grind the Battle Pass here is the breakdown of Kudos:

Arcade –35-50 per run, dependent on performance

                              5 - Versus

                              5 - Combo Trials
                              per completed trial

5 - Extreme Battle per match

30 - Ranked Match per match (win or lose)

30 - Casual Match per match (win or lose)

10 Character Guides per Character Guide

1 - Training per combo performed

                              10 - Custom Room
                              per match (win or loss)

World Tour – 1-10 per win while using each character’s battling style and depending on the opponent’s level; these are given after battles with anyone in the open world and story.

You get 200 Kudos from the Daily Challenge, there are weekly and monthly challenges too.

You need 14500 Kudos to complete there premium one and get your money back so:

                              14500 / 30 = 483.3
                              483.3 / Days left (20) = 24 matches per day

Do the Daily challenge and that number comes down, in 45 minutes I did about 16 matches so I think it is more then possible.

One thing I think Capcom shouldn't have done - your fighter profile records your win/loss ratio for Casual Matches.

I genuinely think that's an error on their part; the very definition of casual matches is they shouldn't matter, and their results should be ephemeral.

Before anyone says "it's just a number", I'll pre-empt that with "it's meaningless then, so you agree with me! Thanks!"

Also because mine's in the toilet this week because I have a bad habit where if I beat someone easily, I'll only play 1-2 matches, because I feel it's in bad taste to drub someone over and over - but if I lose, I'll happily play 10 more because I want to understand their approach.
