It is just a fun stat, I do like the attention to detail they have put in here but why or why did they take the option away of viewing a replay from a persons Fighter profile. Now you have to find the replay and add it to your list and then back out go to a different menu and then find it there.

So thoughts two weeks on.
I am 5000ish points from completing the premium Battle Pass so that seems like it is totally doable.
I am loving just wondering the Battle Hub and challenging players, unlike some I really enjoy playing someone that is so much better than me, even though I am getting battered I am hopefully learning something. I went 5-1 against a Dimond Jamie, first match the guy almost double perfect me, by the end I managed to take a game. It was a mode that I thought looked cool but had little to no value but now seems to be the mode I enjoy the most.
Been spending lots of time workshopping combos, today I was working on one where I just wanted to use the whole OD gauge and Lv3 CA to see what could be done. Just shy of 5000 damage.
Drive Impact is still one I am unsure of, it seems some players have a Godly like ability to react (maybe pad players who have a macro button on a bumper) and it seems some characters can react even through several moves and still react to a DI. Whenever I react to one it seems to be a accident 9 out of 10 times, in fact I am very bad at reacting to them. It kind of seems this really destroy play in the neutral if you are playing someone that likes to use it a lot.
Drive Rush is an incredibly interesting one, I am seeing a lot of Platinum players just go ham with this, Cammy seems to have a very dirty cr. kick that cancels into DR and seems to move faster than the speed of light. I seem to find that some folks have such a good grasp on this mechanic that you could easily not have a turn and they completely dominate, frame trap and just keep their pressure going, I think I need to start using Drive Reversal more as this is worse then SFV at times.
The corner game is pretty interesting as you have to spend half you mental stack on watching for a DI and some characters have incredible pressure in the corner and can attack for what seems like days. Whereas when I get someone into the corner I really struggle to put any meaningful pressure on them.
Overall still loving it, and can't stop playing it.

Been loving it. It's addictive. Was in the ranked grind yesterday and managed to thieve my way into Platinum rank. Bettering my SFV rank. Happy about that. Still getting blown up by rushdown characters, zoners and the always churning giefs lol. JP is like some kind of crazy mini game obstacle course where you get hit on the way in like someone sprinting across a minefield.
Still trying to get to grips with DI too. Something I need to figure out.

I must stress that I think I'd be more comfortable in upper silver/lower gold.
Certain characters I just think my Marisa play has few options against, like this one Platinum Cammy I fought. I've noticed that once I'm in the corner against certain characters I struggle to get out without being interrupted.Last edited by speedlolita; 19-06-2023, 16:18.
