This happened to me yesterday too. Don't remember hearing the whistle, but a couple of defenders stuck up their hands. Lovely touch. Especially Kabira going Gooooooal!!!... eh, OFFSIDO!

Didnt arrive this morning either. In the meantime Ive been trying to learn a few moves in WE7 that I didnt know before. Can anyone point me to a decent WE7 move list?

In a way thats a relief, as my copy must be nearby and should therefore be delivered on Monday. I just had nightmare visions of it taking 3 weeks or something, or even worse getting lost in the post.

Thankfully, I have at least 15 games to play at the moment, so I can focus on finishing a few of them off in the meantime.

Just in case anyone doesn't know yet, to stop the slowdown just turn the crowd off. The 3 stars at the bottom of the setup page (home and away) lets you do this.

Absolutely no atmosphere though.

You can also stop the slowdown by plonking the game onto your Hard Drive.

Just like to add some positive impressions to the thread. After some great multi-player games this morning.

So many new touches, it just feels great to play.

The slowdown was there but we didn't let it affect the play, my brother didn't even pick up on it. And at Monaco its non-existant. Its a clear fault but can certainly be played through, worked around.

Much more positve about it after playing the 'proper' game but I'm not saying its only the rip that has the faults. Just feels better to have the real game and have a DVD caressing the laser than a CDRip making it wretch.

Can't wait to get the english translated option files etc and hit the Master League or a multi-player Premiership (I hope this is possible?)

There were to many great little touches to mention but I'm sure you'll enjoy them when you play the game.

I've started playing League mode (not master league) and this year, with all the additional club teams, you have to select which country's league you want to play. So I've started playing a premiership league, which is very cool. I like how the scoreboard design changes in each mode; the league one is very nice.

One thing I've noticed playing the league mode is that the game limits the amount of substitutes you can have on the bench to 7. This definitely didn't happen when I was playing the Konami or International Cup, so I wonder if Konami only implemented it on certain leagues. It's a nice touch though.

It would be nice in the future if League mode actually became a season mode, with Cup and European games. I know you can do this in the Master League, but not everyone can be bothered to faff around with creating your own team and all that stuff.
