Maybe GAME having realised that over the weekend that all of 1 copy of Final Fantasy X-2 was traded in compared to 2000 copies of G-Surfers, that they better end it pronto.

this is excellent - just got my arse down my local toyrus and bought 8 of the ****tyest games - titles like space invaders, oni etc etc - they were so ****e i can't even remember any others. Paid a fiver each

Went to town next swapped games for disgrea and rallysport 2 - both of which i was gonna get this week anyway (not from game tho

I went into 2 game shops, 1 was busy but the other was absolutely heaving with people trading 4 games, there were stacks of games all piled up that peeps had traded - had a quick glance at them, and there were very very few good titles in amoungst them - it seems that everyone has had the same idea - buy up **** games cheap and sell em to game -- ho ho 8)

i have 2 Game stores less than 5 mins away from each other - so it was a case of do one, then the other, then send family down to do it all other again

Bought the trade-in games from Gamestation and the guy refused one (said the disc was scratched) so i told him i was going to buy another to trade in - he watched me go into dixons (directly opposite Game) and 2 mins later i came out with Wipeout Fusion (?5.97 - most expensive game i bought) which i promptly added to the 3 'good' games to trade - he looked highly pissed off

all in all i got 6 new games for the grand total of ?77 - not a bad day at all

Got Rallisport and Harvest moon the other day. I even slipped up in one store and said I was gonna stick Singstar on Ebay, the guy gave me the "were not supposed to give this deal to traders" line as he rang up my 99p

Hopefully the deal keeps going this week as my mate has just put me another 8 copies of 2.99 games by.

Iv done it once and would love to do it more but it does seem a bit wrong. Its practically like im walking in their and stealing a ?40 game. Its utterly crazy.

Then again i am finding it hard finding an xbox game that i want seeing as iv only recently bought a load...

The deal isn't indefinite and it doesn't end today, especially as yesterday was the start of the week for game. It will run until the end of the school holiday term, which is either this Saturday or the following Saturday. This is because of the slight ambuigity in when the holidays end depending on whether you're at primary or secondary school. Of course it could get pulled early but this is unlikely due to the amount of money they've put into advertising it.

It's not quite the same offer in Ireland it seems, it's 4 games for 99c but the small print says that the amount may be more depending on the trade-in value of the games. Not that I can find preowned games for less than 15? anyway.
There's another one where you get a console for 99c if you trade in 15 games*

I'd probably use it to get rid of some GBA games, all the same, but doesn't GAME have enough preowned ****e already?
