the pic's look awful, but when watching videos its alot like ps1 rr which is not a bad thing at all. All the videos show the car within view as well which causes some slow down due to it being re drawn all the time.

When you playit with no car in view ( like i do ) seems excellent for a handheld to me.

RR PSP looks far better thou, but this will do in the mean time.

Its out tomorrow as far as I know. Iv got a copy preordered with VG+ so hopefully it will arrive in time for me going off on holiday. That would be pretty sweet.

RR64 is one of the best Ridge Racer games m8 and that wasn't by the ridge racer team.

Is RR: DS even being released in Japan? There is no mention of it on the Namco site and yet it is fulled with PSP RR goodness. Whatever about the difference in graphics abilities, I think it's a shame they don't seem to have put into anywhere near the amount of effort into the DS version as they have with the PSP version.

Looking forward to hearing how it plays, the game gets slatted in other forums simply because of how it looks in comparison to the PSP one. I only played RR64 for about an hour but I really enjoyed it, so here's hoping it plays very well.
