It's happened again...EA **UPDATE**

After assurances from EA this wouldn't happen again, I've had my account blocked for 72 hours and have been branded a racist by EA again.
It's all a bit heavy handed. Any suggestions?

People see the KKK in everything these days: I often get accussed of being oversensitive (which I am about some things) and I can't see anything in the slightest wrong with your name.

May it's because you've got the "big" in there, and people assume the "nige" rhymes with that...

Personally, I wouldn't change it. But it might not be worth the grief.

It's a shame you have to change your name, however i remember when i was on live playing Ghost Recon when LIVE first kicked off and i was playing against someone called 'coonhunter', now at first i thought bloody hell steady on there fella untill i realised that he was a redneck kinda guy and it was actually short for "RACOON hunter", what seems harmless to one maybe offensive to another!

Reply with that previous argument you had as an attachment, pointing out that you've already spent enough time explaining that they are being fecking idiots (though a different term might be more appropriate).

Alternatively, just file complaints about as many random usernames as you can find - if the system becomes utterly unusable they'll have to do something.
