It was a french game and it was always in Zero. You could play in different scenarios like world war 1, and the wild west using the same game engine. It looked pretty lush for the time.

Gore from Psygnosis, the Street Fighter 2 beater, apparently (think Gladiator)

    BC looked pretty nice....
Gore was a Doom clone! It even had split screen 2 player, pretty good for the time (and the amiga).

Not sure what the other game is, only thing I can think of is Zed, but that was released...hmm.

      Outcast II
The sequel to the Zelda-esque offworld adventures of Cutter Slade. Criminal it never appeared.

It wasn't a doom clone, though i do remember the one you're talking about.

It was a side on beat 'em up, featuring gladiators, and i'm certain it was Gore. It was done by Psygnosis and a feature was in either Zero or The One. about 1989 i think.

The other one was way before Zed (Bitmap Bros.) That again was in the Zero preview bits once as a feature and again as a preview. And it wasn't Powermonger.

I did know about that game, but the fact it isn?t Excitebike makes me less Excited about it

I?m sure if I see it around for cheep I would pick it up.

            Sensible World of Soccer 2004/05?
As much as I love Winning Eleven/PES, SWOS is still the daddy when it comes to football games. I just wish they'd release a version on the GBA, at least, nevermind all the other formats. No 3D **** either, 2D all the way man!

The Doom clone on Amiga was Gloom. Pretty good it was too.

One game I wish had come out is Jungle Emporer Leo on the N64. I was really excited about it and then Nintendo went quiet. Anyone know what happened to it?

I would like to see any of the following, but its probably wishful thinking:

                1) Guardian Heroes - not a remake, and certainly not a diminished handheld version.
                2) Nights 2 - same as above.
                3) Secret of Mana - a true sequel to the Seiken Densetsu series will be on the list of most RPG fans.

Ah yes, Gloom. Close, I suppose.

This isnt really the place for it but Konami are producing a winning eleven game for the DS which when i heard about it almost made me do a sex wee.

Was there rumour of a Sonic Karting game for the Dreamcast in 2000.

I'm fairly sure Sega were working on one.

Probably ended up in Sonic Adventure 2. Remember that?

Oh yeah! The rumours were probably started because of the racing in SonicAdv2.

                            Sonic Xtreme!

Maybe Sega should of left it to Sonic Team, not Sega of America...

                              Shenmue III
come on, we were left hanging at the end of II - we need an ending for the story.

                              Scud Race (Dreamcast)
Core had this up and running on the DC - why was it never released, especially considering that it is one of Sega's best coin-ops.

                              Virtua Fighter 3 (Saturn)
development was completed for it's late November 1998 release date, yet Sega canned it after nearly two years of development....
