Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I'm all for recycling and eco-friendliness!

I'm playing SOTN on my PSP (under POPS ps1 emulation) and mighty fine it is too. Here's my question: not far into the game, in the room where

you break the wall to get the pot roast, I believe there is some method of getting into the rooms below if you wait somewhere between 10 and 20 seconds.

Is it something I've missed the chance to do, or can I revisit the room and wait the requisite 30 seconds and still drop into the room below and get the items. I think I'll need them to beat the

    Alucard doppleganger

    .

EDIT: Tried it again and it's fine it does work.

What a game though. I have the PS1 version on my PSP too, looks so great on that screen.

I've got to say the PS1 emulation is just so sweet. I have a handful of PSP titles, but I'm going to just convert and play my back catalogue of PS1 titles, 'cos I've always vowed to finish 'em and, you're right, the screen is just great for these games.

You have no idea how many times I've seen the game over screen.

I've played Aria, Harmony and Dawn on GBA and DS respectively but I'm no Castlevania veteran. Plus at my age my skillz are just sick (and not meaning good!)
