Car Boot Booty !

Went to my boot sale yesterday - was good for CDs and other crap but lack of games. All I bought was The Adventures Of Alundra PS1, which was ?2, and is in very good nick with an enclosed tips and hints booklet and a map. Was pleased with that, as I wanted the game anyway. Oh - also bought a game I thought may be vaguely rare and might fleabay it as it was only 50p - "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons - Iron & Blood" (PS1) or something - looks like a 3d weapons based fighter with a hint of RPG elements to it.

Other than that, I bought 4 plush Pikachu toys of v arious sizes. I had bought one last week, and when I got home the missus was in the shower, so I sneaked all of them into the baby's room. When she went in there after her shower she freaked out, as there were 5 Pikachus staring at her, so she threw them all at me down the stairs, and said: "It is like something out of a horror film" and "You'll give the baby nightmares".

Good one today. Got two great PS1 games for ?2 - Final Fantasy Anthology and Raystorm, a mint boxed official Sega Genesis Videogame Organiser for ?3, an official Gamecube scart lead (unboxed) for 50p, and two MD games (Wiz N Liz & Toejam & Earl Panic on Funkatron) for a quid all in.

Also got a big plush Pikachu (it is becoming an obsession) and two other Pokemon. Don't know who they are though - one looks like a ****ed up frog with a Dreamcast logo on the front, and the other one is a lizard thing with what looks like a twin car exhaust coming out of it's back.

Am interested if anyone can tell me if the Genesis whatsit is worth anything. it is genuinely mint.

Got Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening for a pound today, along with The Bouncer PS2 (?2) and Devil May Cry 3 (?6 - bargain, and what a game), as well as a Virtua Gun for the Saturn (unboxed, but only 50p), and loads more Pokemon plushes, including a wobbling, talking Psyduck.

for space channel 5 for 3quid, ok so you can get it for that on ebay but, it's was in stunning condition looks brand new. was the onlything that i wanted aswell
saw a few megadrives with a couple of games for a tenner but not much else.

Then at another stall I got:

A boxed DC with all leads, 2 controllers, 2 VMU's, 1 rumble pack, manuals and 4 boxed games that I haggled down from ?10 to ?5

I hammer the boot sales as I deal in rare vinyl, and have several times spent upwards of ?4-500 pounds just to buy entire collections off people at boot sales.

Games wise though, I've only ever had a few really good finds - one was a few years back and got 5 boxed and 4 unboxed Japanese (non-CGL) Game & Watch, paid ?30 for the lot. Lovely boxed JPN DC for ?20... got a few nice bags full of boxed import SNES or MD stuff usually for around ?1 - ?3 a cart, that kind of stuff.

Can't beat them for vinyl though
