I was thinking about it and even researched it a little, but have since decided not to take the plunge. I'm going to wait for at least the PS3 to hit the scene and HD really begins to take off. Hopefully the prices will be a little more reasonable then too.

After my old CRT packed in a couple of months ago I decided it was worth going HD. I got the 32" Samsung that are on show with the 360's and I love it. I really cant wait to start playing HD games on a big screen. I'll also be getting a PS3 when that comes out so I can watch some true HD movies.

Erm, it's one of the reasons I'm steering clear of the 360 for now (as someone said it'll be like hooking up a console in composite) if I know the graphics can look better than they do for me I'll never be satisfied if I get a 360 until I can actually play it in the highest resolution etc.
I'm hoping to get a HDTV by next summer thoif not at least revolution ain't HD so if I jus get that I won't feel like I'm missing out :P

I picked up a 28" Logik LCD from Dixons for ?360 for my 360 when it comes. No HDMI or DVI, but it has VGA and component so its okay for the 360 and Sky HD, plus as I posted on here before, you can get DVI-D to VGA adaptors now. I also think all this talk of needing the content protecting sockets for Blu-ray etc is a moot point at the mo, as I doubt it will take long for someone in China or Hong Kong to release a player that bypasses it and probably just uses component. They did it with the region codes and macrovison.

Thinking about spending ?150 notes on a Sony 24" CRT PC monitor that whilst will take up half of the living room will offer a quality picture.
The LCDs wont be able to match the picture for a while yet and Ill be able to play all those lovely 360 games in glorious HD in widescreen as well. It will also be good to watch films on through the vga output on my laptop.
