For what it's worth getting a component lead into the back of my 360 is not an option at this time

I believe other posters have tried Outrun 2 but I believe you are the only one who has tried Coast to Coast. I was just wondering, as I dont have VGA or HD, if you or anyone had tried it in SD or HD?

I really hope it's my copy of the game. I haven't played it much (had about 2 goes of it on the original Xbox due to the pain in the ass nature of having to set the console up) but the disc definately worked then.

The drive did make a rather worrying whirring noise when it was trying to load the game. If it does work for anyone else I would happily run down to the shops and try and find a new copy right now.

Just tried setting my Display settings to 640 x 480 (essentially SD) and still the same. The game loads the menus no problems but as soon as I try and start a race the game won't go past the loading screen (with the Diverge explanation top left and route map bottom right). It doesn't freeze (there are a couple of animations that continue) but it just never finishes loading.

How does this stuff work? Do they have people working on individual games, or is it an overall update to the emulation that allows more games to work? If the former, then there's games on that list I've never heard of, so why are people working on them Good that they are still working on fixes at all I suppose.

they fix one game and discover that fixing that one helped to fix a couple of others etc etc

gutted that still no RSC2 or Strangers Wrath - guessing that RSC2 will be the very last game that is emulated (if it ever is) due to it being the best driving game on the original xbox

PAL JSRF dosen't work with VGA - Although it does with component, double game disc (JSRF & SEGA GT) tested.

That's a shame, but I'll still pick it up as I regreted never playing it before.

I recently bought the SF Anniversary Collection which also didn't work over VGA, and it looked horrible over component - I think I've been spoilt with VGA.

PGR2 works via VGA. Frame rate issues though.

Damn shame about Coast 2 Coast, I was really looking forward to giving that some play over the weekend.

Ok, disaster averted (ish).

Watsui's posted prompted me to go to the trouble of hookng it up via component and it did work but...

It did have the same problem. I left it longer this time and the game eventually loaded. Back to VGA and that also works now but it just seems to take the game forever to load a race.

Not sure if I have a borked disc.

Some original games, have longer loading times on the 360, Ninja Gaiden does that.

Funny how some of the best news to come out of the week of E3 is that a couple of my favourite games are on the BC list

Shame KUF: Heroes isn't on that list, it's been sat here for ages. Still Crusaders is a step in the right direction.

Now I've just gotta find a copy of C2C.
