to be fair though, the 360 has been the least painful pal console to own. ive got some US games which work fine on it. therse no problem with live arcade games. all ym 360 games run in 720p. i dont play many old xobx games, halo 2 is the only one ive tried tbh. but id have liked to have played psyconaughts.

You PAL guys get screwed whichever way you turn. So glad I don't own a single item of PAL hardware.

If it was any other console, I'd agree... but there's really not much disadvantage to a PAL 360. There are no real notable games that have hit the US but not the UK, and release dates have generally been a few days of difference (and most are region free anyway).

The 50Hz issue is solved by using a Component cable.

The 360 is probably the greatest PAL system ever.
60Hz is a standard, most US games come out around the same time.
Nintendo should take notes.

If the 360 ever takes off in Japan, I will most likely buy an Asian machine (Although I might since I can just buy nearly all games for £20 from Play-asia )

Outrun 2006 and Project Gotham 2 finally! This is the best news ever. I can't check them out till tomorrow, but is Jet Set Radio Future been updated for the PAL version?

Also, apparently theres issues with Marvel vs Capcom 2's sprites being corrupted (taken from the comments on MN). Theres a bit of that on KOF2002 but not enough to ruin the game.

Just played Outrun 2 there, glad to see it's finally working.

(Edit 2: scratch that, looks like after a small stutter at the start, it's 60fps all the way! )

Nah, I'm using HDMI. It only stutters a little bit at the beach at the start though
