What's with the Xbox 360 haters?

If Halo 3 was a launch title there'd be people slagging it off for being more of the same, just with prettier graphics. The fact is some people will still find something to moan about regardless because it's not possible to please all the people all the time.

I know I'm going to enjoy playing the next-gen games I have on order, and the ones that'll be released in the future, and that's all that matters to me.

I don't think launching Halo 3 with the console would have been too great an idea, anyway. Most of my non-nerdy-games-type friends still think of the xbox as "that halo console" and focusing on the other things that the box can do might/should show them that it's capable of a lot more.

To the matter at hand; the media will lambast the console because negativity always attracts people and bumps up the hit counter. On the more personal side, I think there's a lot of people who are just somewhat cynical in nature. Like myself. And I also think that some people who are mightily enthused by the thing can mistake this natural cynicism for seething hate. Which it isn't.

I think the launch is great 6 top games. Everyone seems to be missing Condenmed! Not to mention the best feature ever, Xbox Live. Really, they have intergrated this in such a way, your GOING to want to be a completionist, just to have a better gamerscore! I would buy it for Xbox Live alone!
