At the store where I work, a deputy manager asked if he could have a 360 without a pre-order and was promptly told no. It was the same with PSPs. Obviously if its decided that there are spare units, than an employee will likely be able to get first refusal. But all pre-order units are going to pre-order customers.

I'll add to that and say that anyone with a pre-order should go and collect it as soon as you can on launch day. If there is a shortage and they dont have enough to cover all pre-orders then the number on your reciept won't make any kind of difference.

We also got 14 Premium packs today, the warehouse doesnt even have core packs yet so no idea of how many of those we'll get.

I work in gamestation, stangely in lincoln too, and the staff have the exact same priveleges as a customer when it comes to preorders

Gamestation I work at are saying they are holding preorders for people for 72 hours. And us staff dont even get to jump the queue.
