Anyone know which places are giving them out firstcome first serve? (without preordering).

Gamestation I work at are saying they are holding preorders for people for 72 hours. And us staff dont even get to jump the queue.

I'd assume your best bet is Tesco or ASDA, but you'll have to probably fight the staff for it....

Went into Game (Exeter) today and asked if they've actually received stock for the X360 yet, the guy I was talking to said that they've got 'hundreds' in their underground basement.
Although It's easy to debate the use of the words 'hundreds' and how it may exaggerated, it is way more positive news for me (and pretty much more confirmation than what I've already got) as I'm my pre order number is somewhere around 40ish area., and they do have over a 100 pre orders anyway.

Core is first come first serve as well.

I'm from Kilmarnock to! i just said Ayr as i figured it was a more 'well known' town - small world huh? Granger Games have a couple of the launch games for below RRP last time i went in to pick up Mario Kart.

My Gameplay order is a dead cert, my Play.com order is unknown at this stage - i'll keep you posted but don't get your hopes up just incase :P

As a GAME employee I got first call on keeping by a core system on release date, despite not having a pre-order.

I think buying a core system, including HDD, live headset and PGR3, will cost roughly the same as it would if I were buying a premium, due to the 25% accessories discount as opposed to a 10% hardware discount.
