I also thought this do the Xbox's Not go to a big warehouse in Ireland and then ship them out to palces all over the UK. So why would they be going to London

Anyway all I hope is that they have enough Preium consoles in Januray for me to buy one 8)

the thing is if you look at US forums and sites selling the console there are also shortages over there. consoles are becoming available in small amounts but are getting snapped up very quickly. i imagine the situation will the same in europe.

doubt it will be freely available (as in you can walk into a shop and buy one) until after xmas

What? Like people did on launch day while like a mug I thought I'd get one because I preordered the day prices were announced?

Patience I say. Remember the Ps2 launch? Couldn't get one before Christmas, cos Sony had to launch about 4 hours before Xmas day. MS have done the same. Give it 3 weeks and we'll be drowning in the bloody things.

Agree. I've stopped killing myself over this machine ... I've just set up an order with play.com, and it will ship whenever it ships ... I now feel completely at peace, and the headaches have stopped.

ive just come back from new york,when I was there I did some serious searching for the 360 and there was nothing,squat,zip.
The flagship TOYS r US store in times square was empty,the manager said it was going to be at least 3 weeks until they were restocked,same for the other big chains,virgin hmv et al.
I think its gonna be a long winter
