That's one very cool faceplate. Was planning on buying an ntsc-j 360 shortly but reckon I'll need to hold off another couple of months now (damn you ms!!!).

I have looked ages for a decent faceplate and there's only been one that I've only ever wanted to get - the original developer team one "thanks for playing with us" (the one with the aliens)... I think that isn't too colouristic, has perfect white and uses the main xbox button well.

Now I've seen two that I love the look off, the Viva Pinata Faceplate (which I've just pre-orderd, out Tuesday, for ~?15 inc pnp) and the Blue Dragon one, but don't like the bottom part...

yeah that cherry blossom one looks nice the black one next to it looks pretty special too, i suspect there the prototypes they showed off early on that never got released.

Im not digging the blue draggon faceplate ive always thought the game looks a bit like a rare game and is from that stable of americanised anime, that faceplate just reinforces this all the more to me, the big thick black lines really do stand out a bit to much and look really bad to me.

I know whos working on this game and i know the background behind it but seeing the vids of this over tgs and x06 left me thinking "Meh bad anime" it dident apeal to me at all.

right how bored am i? i've been thinking of sprucing up my 360 for a while now... do i attack the faceplate with a permanent marker for a simple doodle sesh or do i hit it with the airbrush/spraycans for a truly custom look?

i may scribble some designs first then see what's what.

Does anyone know what the 3rd party faceplates like Joytech & Powerplay are like because they come in packs of 2 or 3 & are a lot cheaper?.

if you're gonna hit them with spraypaint i don't see how it'd matter.... as long as they fitted properly.

Got the Viva Pinata Faceplate today, it really does look nice - was despatched last Friday in the end...
