i tend to buy things and worry about paying for it later... not the best of ideas sometimes but hey, it makes me budget the rest of the time. money and me don't mix, i can never seem to save any, no matter how much i acquire, it means i have some cool toys though

*edit: i don't do credit cards though, if the money is in my account it's as good as spent.

I know what you mean about credit cards.
I'd have the bailiffs 'round in no time, the way I spend. That's why I'm worried about saving stuff this year. My girlfriend tries to manage my money, 'cause I just blow it as soon as it's in my account.

And I have a job so I'll fund it that way
All of the above summs it for me

This year I will plan ahead, put a larger deposit down on the Rev, undecided on the PS3. I only put down 20 quid for the 360 so it hurt my wallet big time whne it was time to cough up. I work but am in the process of clearing off my debt so money is tight to say the least at the moment. I have stopped selling old games now as I always end up regretting it. That said I have a puny collection really.

I have no idea where the hell i get the money from. I am constantly spending everyday but now that my gf has decided to take over my finances i'm screwed. I have to pay for some very lovely stuff that i've bought on here. Being a student and a gamer just doesn't work. You end up having no f-ing money. But still spend spend spend.

Thankfully working or cleverly selling games etc keeps a steady but disappearing income coming in.

I stick to mostly retro and cheap stuff. Dont buy any new games, and I dont buy games period unless its under ?10. And I trade in/sell games that I dont like. Same applies to DVDs and CDs.

I very much resent paying fourty quid for a game anyway, since i have a rather short attention span and probally wont fill its attention span

Student Loan for the past 3 years, and this year I got a scholarship for my MSc, so it's all good.

I used to own all current platforms and buy any 'good' game. Those days are gone and I only pick up absolute top notch games now. I also never sold any games but chucked them on a box somewhere. Over the last year I cleared out alot of dust gathering boxes.

Now, unless I absolutely love it, a recently completed game gets sold within a few weeks so it usually 'costs' a few quid toplay it. It also helps that I'm not one for replaying a game if I get a different coloured pair of underpants for finishing it first time round

Don't really deal in used games unless they're from here. God knows what people from eBay and Game customers do to their games to get them in such a state.

Job for me. Coupled with relatively low outgoings means plenty spare for games.
